Lost Boy

"Andrew honey, come eat dinner" I heard my mom shout from downstairs. I'm not in the mood to eat, but I'm not in the mood to hear her telling me I need to eat more either. I closed my laptop and dragged myself downstairs.

"I made you're favorite, pot pie" my mom said smiling

"Great"

The rest of dinner was silent. My sister was on her phone most of the time and my dad is never home, so it's basically just us.

I finished most of my dinner and excused myself. I decided to just go to bed. I have to get up early anyway for school.

End of school day

"Hey drew! Wait up!" I heard someone yelling from behind me but I just kept walking.

Eventually the person caught up to me. I turned to see my best friend danny standing there

"Dude what the hell, did you not hear me calling you?"

"No, i was uh..its pretty loud in the halls. I guess i just didnt hear you"

"Whats been going on with you lately?!"

"I dont know what you're talking about" I turned to leave but Danny pulled my shoulder back

"Bro? Whats going on?"

"Nothing!...nothing is going on Danny, now please get off me. I'm gonna be late"

Danny looked shocked at my outburst but did as I asked. I walked to my car and drove home

"Hey honey how was sch-"

I cut my mom off by running upstairs and slamming my door. I don't know what the hell is going on with me..I feel like a teenage girl on her period. I mean, I know what's happening to me I just don't want it to happen.

It can't happen and I won't let it happen. My family would never except that, ever.

"Andrew! Door!" My mom shouted

I groaned and got up. When I walked downstairs I seen Danny sitting on the couch playing with his fingers.

"Umm"

He looked up and I looked at him

"You gonna talk or just sit on my couch?"

"Oh..uh yeah, look man me and you have been best friends for as long as I can remember, I just don't like that you're keeping secrets from me..please drew tell me what's going on"

"Its nothing"

"Drew.."

"ITS NOTHING DANNY! GEEZ LEAVE ME ALONE ABOUT IT, JUST GET OUT!"

"Drew-"

"GET OUT!"

He quickly wipped away the tear from his cheek and walked out slamming my door. I ran my fingers through my hair and looked over. My mom was standing there with the most unreadable face ever.

"Mom, not now..please"

She nodded and I walked to my room and layed on my bed. My emotions are everywhere and I don't know what to do. All of a sudden tears just started falling from my eyes.
At this point I'm a lost boy ready to be found
