Joshua Evans is a 24 year old man who lives in New York. He recently returned home from a 12 week tour on a Norwegian cruise ship where he performed each night as a singer and all round entertainer. Josh was a fun loving, well mannered, gentleman who was originally from a little place called Macon in Georgia. Whilst working on the cruise ship he met a girl named Taylor and they quickly hit it off, a couple of weeks down the line they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend and Josh thought he loved her. Sadly, as their time together came to an end so did their relationship. As the boat pulled into the harbour they shared one final hug together and said their goodbyes as Taylor left to fly home to Florida where she was originally from and Joshua took an uber back to his little apartment in New York.
3 weeks later
"You really need to get off of your ass and do something man, moping around isn't gonna help you get over her ya know." said Tyler, Joshua's best friend from college who now lived in the same apartment bulding.
"I will" said Josh. "But when I'm ready."
T: "There's a show on in the cabaret bar along the street tomorrow night, some chick named Miranda Sings from youtube, I heard she's pretty hilarious. Why don't we go to take your mind off of things?"
J: "I dunno man, its not my kind of thing."
T: "Aw c'mon, it'll be fun."
J: "fine. but if it sucks we're leaving."
T: "Deal." he smirked.
