Turn it around (A Greg Gorenc love story)

Just came to  Barden University, thought that this place would totally be the place to find who I really am and get to focus on the things I like. I went to the fair and saw so many cool places to join but none of them were really for me... One group I actually stopped by at, The Bella's. "Hi I'm Beca and this is Aubrey, would you care to join the Bella's?" At first I was startled but kind of getting curious and wanting to try it out, "hmm..I'm not sure what do you have to do?"

"Well first things first, we are an a Capella group, we don't have any music or Instruments...it's all from our mouths." Beca finishes with a smile. That kinda seemed hard for me, considering I'm working at a radio station..

I told Beca I might consider it but I also told her I don't really sing.

I walked away and I heard the song 'Whip it' I stopped by and listen to them sing. I kinda scanned the crowd of Trebles and one important guy just caught my eye. He was a cute blonde with tips and roots brown, his eyes were just so dreamy. As I was just glazing at his eyes I noticed him walking over to me and I just froze. "Hey, you new here?" I startled...I mean I didn't know what to say! "Uhh...ehh..ya..." He smirked, "heh, cute. So what's your name?"

"Nicole, and yours?" I blushed

"I'm Greg, are you apart of the Bella's?" I didn't know what to say because I mean I was going to audition but he's a Treble and I've heard some history about that Bella's and the Trebles..."Umm no, heh not yet exactly.." He smiled again making me blush even more. I looked at my phone and I noticed that I had to go to my dorm before it gets too late, "Umm hey I should really get going but it was nice meeting, see you tomorrow maybe?"

"Ya for sure, oh wait before you go can you give me your number?" I just smirked then blushed EVEN more!!

"Ya sure, got a Pen and paper?" I questioned, "Umm, well I have this marker but no paper, you can write it on my arm though."

"Okay...?" I wrote my number then headed inside to my dorm room.

It was really plain, nothing really looked like something I would style it as...so I got right to it. First I put away my clothes then got dressed in plain jogging pants and a simple T-shirt.

After I was done decorating and making the room my own I received a call, it said unknown name and number but I just answered it anyways. "Hello.....???"

"Oh hey Nicole! It's me Greg, I just wanted to say hi and good luck on your auditions tomorrow, can't wait to see you perform!"

I was surprised but thrilled and happy at the same time. "Aww thanks Greg, means a lot. That kinda made my day."

I heard a little laugh through my phone, "oh no problem, anyways, see ya tomorrow Nicole bye."

I said bye back then he hung up. The sound of Greg's voice just gives me the butterflies! I didn't know a guy like that could ever give me butterflies like that.

My alarm went off, it was 8:35am and I knew I had to get ready for the auditions so I just grabbed my body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and face scrub. I grabbed my light violet robe and headed to the washroom. I took a ten minute shower then got dressed. I put on a purple tank top with a grey scarf and simple black cardigan. I topped it off with my simple skinny jeans and converse shoes. After I did my hair and makeup I head to the Audition studio.

The first guy or girl came up, I couldn't tell. Donald said: "whenever your ready dude."

"Ya, hi my name is Cynthia Rose." As Cynthia said that she took off her cap as the guys noticing that, that was not a dude, "that's not a dude, that's not a dude" she was really good well actually most of these singers were good. But I have to admit some were pretty horrible actually, I just hope I'm better. And not just to impress Greg of course. They all sang A Capella but sang Since you've been gone, and well I didn't know we had to prepare that song, so instead I sang 'Cups'.
