Korrina Williams attends Holmes Chapel High School. She is known as the geek along with Marcel, her best friend. They both have good brains and both have a sophisticated look. Everyone has their own best friends just like them. They are perfectly normal people, yet they are bullied.
They are classed as 'the Un-populars' just because of the way they dress and because they want to get far in life. Why should they be bullied for that?
Anyway. When they leave school they all separate and Marcel and Korrina loose contact with all of the bullies. They feel like there life is on track and they can be who they want. Even though they have exactly the same grades somehow they are accepted into different colleges.
To promise each other that no matter what they would stay together they both got a necklace of a paper airplane, representing that they will be crumpled and squashed but they will still manage to fly.
When they attend different colleges they meet new people and start to lose contact with each other. The phone calls would decrease, the texts would be minimal, the skypes would be stopping, the meet-ups would stop completely. The people they start to mix with change them. They change their personality, their grades and their looks.
One day after years of not seeing eachother they bump into eachother but don't recognise eachother after the complete difference. The only thing that makes them remember is the necklace. Do things escalate from their bumping into eachother? Do thinks happen at the school reunion?
