"Come on! Aren't you so excited! It's time to go on stage!"
"Yah. You look FABULOUS."
My two friends, Bailey and Alice, were ushering me on stage. Although I was a background character, I felt I had to do my best. I was in our schools production of Cinderella. I played a girl at the ball. My dress was really nice compared to the other girls, so I felt kinda lucky.

I got in place and started my dance. I leaped and spun in circles. I think the dance was just a reason to get more girls in the play. We also had to sing, which is always a joy. I was near the back, so no one could hear me.

Once the dance was over, I pranced off stage to get water.
"You sing pretty well. At least better than this other girls do."
"Well I wouldn't say bet- Wait, who are you?" A tall guy emerged from the curtain. He was ok looking, but he was wearing a horse head.
"Wow. That costume is very....unique..?" It was a white leotard and a giant white horse head (made of foam) that was very distracting.
"Yeah I know. Trust me. I look a lot better without it on." He smiled. His smile was kinda side ways. It was cute.
"What's your name?" I was curious. He seemed like a cool guy. I'm surprised I've never seen him around.
"HORSES. HORSES ON STAGE!" The student directed yelled at us, pushing him away.
"Oh gotta go! Talk to me after the play!" Aaaaand he's gone.

"OMG YOU WERE FABULOUS" Alice and Bailey ran to me, giving me a group hug. I felt someone else enter the hug.
"I saw you from the audience. YOU WERE SO GRACEFUL!"
"Clair! Wow I'm surprised you came!"
Clair, my other friend, doesn't really like drama.
"I just got here. I just manage to see you dance and might I say, it was really good. I'd love to stay and chat but my mom is outside. I told her I was just gonna pop in. Bye!"
"Bye..?"
"Well that was fun. Let's go backstage and wait for the finale." Alice pointed to the green room.
"Yah lets go." I walked slowly to the green room, keeping one eye on them, and on eye on the horses that were on stage.
