The Secret of the White Wolf

Chapter 13

The past few days have been amazing my brothers found their mate and Rylinn found out about mates and werewolves all of my family is staying here with me. I love my mate everything is falling into place I love it here. Me and Carter have been training non-stop he wants me strong considering I'm a white wolf I guess it's special I don't really know. We are working on speed in human form right now.

"Come on just a little bit faster we're almost done here" Carter said pushing me past my limits "Carter seriously I can't push any harder it's hurts" I whined to him hoping he'd let me have a break.

"I know baby it's hard but, just a little farther" I was just about done with him right now until we came to this majestic lake it was so pretty I finally just collapsed right there. 

"Babe are you okay?" Carter asked in a worried voice I looked around it was pretty the water was still calming. "Yea I'm fine just help me up" I yelled he grabbed my hand to help me up.

We looked around and took in the beauty of this place It was a pretty lake with a little cave. I started dragging him through the cave to see where it would lead to. I let out a little gasp on the other side there was a big open space it was perfect  "Is this our land?" I asked hoping it was.

"Yea no one really comes out here I've explored this territory forever I wonder why no one's ever found it" He said as he walked around the field admiring it. He started sniffing the air and made a distorted face we started walking towards the edge of the cave.

 "What's wrong?" I asked 

"Stay back" He threw his in front of me "Rouges" He said in a nasty voice.

We came to the edge of the cave I saw the rouges they were standing at the edge of cave. They couldn't seem to see us it was like there was this curtain between. I held Carter back and waited to see what would happen they started to walk away since they were on our land I knew Carter would have to kill or question them. "Stay here I'll get them" He said before he went after them.

I saw Carter pounce on one of them and grab his neck with a snap he was dead. The other one didn't notice because Carter had come out of nowhere. In seconds they were both dead. I came out of the cave and ran up and hugged him.

"It okay baby" He said as he rubbed my back.

"Why couldn't they see us" there's no way we were invisible as soon as Carter passes the cave they could see us but how was this possible it's never happened in werewolf history

"Hey babe, where did the cave go?" I looked at him questionably  it's right there I grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the cave "It's right there can't you see it?" I said looking at in awe.

"Now I can it, this is weird let go of my hand for a minute" I did as I was told and let his hand go "Now it not there, touch me again" I grabbed his hand again "It's linked to you babe you control who can see it".

I was astonished seriously I had these special powers "Is it linked to me being a white wolf?" I questioned he looked at me strangely " I have no clue" we we're both were really confused.

"Can we go back in, I want to look around" I asked I was really hoping we could it's so pretty and I feel so powerful in there. "Of course we can" He said smiling of course I dragged him into the cave.

"I don't know why but, I feel so powerful in here like I can do anything" I smiled as I started running around in a circle 

'She's so beautiful I don't know what I'd do without her'  Ran through my head I was confused it sounded different than a mind link.

"Why did you just mind link me you can just tell me I'm beautiful" He looked at me questionably "I didn't mind link you but, I was thinking that you're beautiful" He said as he wrapped his arms around my body pulling me into his warmth.

"Can you just think of something for a minute"  I asked wanting to test it out 'Pancakes, Pancakes, food'  I laughed "Seriously Pancakes Carter" I said between laughs.

"How did you do that that's not fair" I looked at him "I guess this place triggers my white wolf powers and I can read your mind" I looked at him seriously "Well then I wonder if it only works in here" He asked he was right I really did wonder maybe I can learn to use them outside of here.

"We should head back now before people start to get worried" I looked at him and pouted a little bit.

"Promise we can come back" I said with my bottom lip sticking out "Of course we can come back it's our special place" He said kissing me on the top of my head. I whipped around "Race ya back" I yelled behind me.
