I contiuned staring at the girl, who was looking around angrily, as though trying to see where I was. I couldn't help but admire how beautiful she was, with her long navy blue hair, and her eyes which were the same color.

I looked at the weapon on her waist and couldn't really call it a Katana seeing as it looked much bigger then that.

"Ruka of the Leaf!" Genma said, snapping me from my daze "please come down for your match!"

I exhaled a deep breath then jumped over the railing as everyone cheered and clapped. Yuri turned towards me and glared angrily.

What did I do?

"Who the hell are you?!" Naruto asked, releasing Shikamaru and turning towards Yuri.

Yuri spun around and stared at Naruto now instead of me, flicking back her long navy blue hair in the process.

"Yuri Setō" she said simply "now get out of my way so I can fight this girl."

This girl? Naruto growled angrily and contiuned glaring daggers at Yuri who seemed, if anything, unfazed by it.

"You three" Genma said pointing at Naruto, Shikamaru, and Temari "scat!"

They nodded and retreated to the competitors stand as I returned my attention to Yuri. She was still glaring at me and I couldn't help but think what I had done for her to be so angry.

"Are you two ready" Genma asked, stepping back to a safe distance.

Yuri huffed impatiently and didn't reply. For some reason, I felt anger boil in my chest at her virulent attitude. What right does she have to come here and act like everything's all about her!?
I grabbed a Kunai from my pouch and clutched it tightly, as my temper contiuned to rise.

"This match will be over in less then a minute" Yuri said confidently "I don't need to be ready."

I could practically feel the angry glares Yuri was receiving but she paid no attention to them whatsoever.

"Why would they pair me up with someone so damn weak this year?! Just say go already!"

Weak?!

She thinks I'm weak and we haven't even started yet?! I infused Chakra into my fist and just stood there, anger radiating throughout my entire body.

"GO!"

Yuri wasted no time in pulling that giant sword out of its sheath and slashing it at me. Now, Yuri hadn't moved an inch, she was still a few feet away from me. However, when she slashed her sword at me I felt a ripping pain in my left arm and I looked down to see a large gash that was bleeding heavily. I gasped in surprise and clutched it as Yuri smirked.

"You should really keep your guard up" she teased "you don't know just how powerful I am."

'You must not know how powerful we are bitch!' Kinase growled angrily.

I removed my hand from my bleeding arm as it immediately began to heal itself.

Thanks Kinase.

I glared at Yuri then charged at her as she smirked. Jirayia's training and advice was swirling rapidly through my mind and I remember him telling me not to think to hard about my next move. Yuri slashed her sword at me once more and I concentrated.
