Charlotte's pov
Dinnnggggg Donnnnggggg.. the doorbell rang.
"who is it" i say as i am slowly waking up.
"it's Aubrey" says my friend.
"10 more minutes" i yell from my room.
before you all freak out and ask who I am. my name is Charlotte Moore. I'm 16 years old and I live by myself in a small house, I live by myself because both of parents passed away during my freshman year. I'm a junior, and today Aubrey and I are going to our new school. Aubrey is has been my best friend since kindergarten, we just moved to Sacramento, California from Miami, Florida because Aubrey's mom had a miscarriage and she said she needed to get out of town. She asked if i would like to live with her and her mom but i couldn't because I wouldn't want to cause her mom any more trouble..
"we don't have 10 minutes, it's 6:30 and you have to be ready by 7:15" yells Aubrey.
"but I don't know what to wear" I say finally getting out of bed.
"just wear anything" she replies.
"thanks, your a real help" I say.
"I will be outside, come down when you're ready" she says exiting the living room.
I go up to my closet and grab grey sweatpants with a cut in half fake football jersey. I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth and hair, I put in a messy ponytail. I apply eyeliner and mascara. I looked at my phone it was 7:10 so I ran downstairs.
as i was i was about to leave my house, when i get a text from Aubrey..
message from: Aubrey<3 7:05am
A-don't forget your lacrosse bag.
"of course" I say running back upstairs.
I grab my bag and run back downstairs.
"you girls ready?" Aubrey's mom, Christina, says.
"no but we have to so yeah" says Aubrey.
I laugh.
we pull up to the school. it's huge, and I honestly I hate big places with a lot of people so I am not ready for this..
"have a good day girls" says Christina.
"we will" says Aubrey.
"I'll try" I say leaving the car.
we get out of the car and wave bye to Audrey's mom..
"I'm so nervous" I say to Aubrey.
"don't worry we will be okay" she replies.
"we are the new girls, don't you think everybody will look at us funny" I say.
"just come on and have some fun" she says dragging me into the school.
"yeah we are going to have so much fun" i say sarcastically.
we walk into the school and look for the main office. we find it by asking some security guards.
"hello, I'm Aubrey Braden and this is Charlotte Moore, we are new here" says Aubrey.
"hi yes, you are the new girls, here are your schedules and locker numbers. you must hurry 1st period is just starting" says the secretary.
we walk out of the office and into the hallways..
"what do you have 1st period" Aubrey asks me.
"English, what about you" I say.
"math" she replies.
