Jessica
They say that you shouldn’t keep your anger bottled up inside because it can lead to nasty things, which is why I am currently “venting” all my anger out on the red punching bag hanging on the SIA training quarters. I decided to come here on my own. I needed some time alone since yesterday’s encounter.
Imagining that the punching bag was Skylar’s face, I pounded my fist against it as hard as I could.
Punch. You worthless. Punch. Deceiving. Punch, Punch. Brat. PUNCH!
A loud boom echoed in the room leaving me amazed at how much force I used. A loud sigh escaped my mouth, and I collapsed to the ground. I lay on my back trying to catch my breath. Beads of sweat rolled down from my forehead creating a small pool on the mat. Gross.
“Jessica,” a familiar voice called out.
I quickly shot up from my position and turned my head towards the voice. It was Shirley.
“Yes Shirley?” I replied.
“I realized that since you’ve recently joined our agency, I’ve recruited two new ones who will accompany you on your mission. They will train with you and you will bond and build a relationship with them as colleagues, friends, and or teammates. I know I have told you that you would be doing this alone, but a little help wouldn’t hurt.”
Hearing this made the weight on my shoulders become lighter. I was so worried about doing this case alone. I figured that I would massively fail.
“Thank you so much Shirley, you don’t know how relieved I am that you made this a team mission,” I said in relieved tone.
She gave me a kind smile and said, “No worries my dear. As of now you are the first established group of Stellar Agency. Viridian will be your name.”
I scrunched my nose at our name.
“Viridian? Why that?” I asked her.
She pursed her lips and replied, “Because I like the color okay? No more arguing. Are you ready to meet them?”
I nodded happily. New Friends! I thought.
Shirley signaled behind the door and in came two teens around my age with friendly faces. One of them was a pretty girl. Wavy brown locks cascaded down her back and her hazel eyes shone bright. She had a nice and bubbly aura making me relieved that I wouldn’t get stuck with a girl like Skylar or Serena. The other one was a guy. He had light brown wavy hair that had a messy look to it. Nevertheless he still looked handsome. His chocolate brown eyes held friendly warmth to it. Both looked very much alike.
I knew that we were all going to be the best of friends. I grinned at both of them and introduced myself.
