They couldn’t see her pain
That was spreading fast as a moving train
She hides her cries with her laughs
She keeps on smiling or else she cracks
Her laughs seem joyful but there’s a hidden truth
Behind them are waterfalls of tears making her so fragile and loose
She’s great at acting happy though
No wonder, she’s been doing it for so long you wouldn’t know
They scarred her but they never knew their words hurt
They did it not realizing every time it always burnt
She ignored it and acted happy just like any day
With her green eyes shining like the grass on the bay
In a million years, they’ll never doubt a thing
They’ll never know her pretty picture changes with each blink
Her story will go on with plenty of twists
She’ll still act happy as if her life is bliss
With a big smile and blowing a kiss
Everyone will keep thinking she’s perfect little happy miss.
