PROLOGUE
{ Akime's Pov}
It's been four years Itachi." I say looking at the Uchiha boy. He looks at me emotionlessly, I stare at him with a hateful look. "We were best friends, Itachi... Why did you leave me?" "Why'd you leave Sasuke!" I yelled while launching kunai at him. Itachi quickly dodged them, and activated his sharingan and did hand signs for his fire ball jutsu. "Everyone! Don't look into his eyes, you'll get caught in his genjutsu !" I yelled, everyone obeyed since I am the new leader of the ANBU black ops. I did a couple hand signs for my Water Style: water dragon jutsu. The Water Dragon hit his fire ball and steam came around all of us.
"Everybody stay calm!" I ordered. I then heard slahes and screams come all around me. When the steam cleared everyone was dead all around me. I quickly jumped up and threw paper bombs at every body lying on the ground destroying important intel so in future refrences, couldn't be stolen. I started heading back to Konoha, since I was the only one alive, luckily , neither Itachi or his partner Kisame Hoshigaki followed me. I returned back to the vilage and reported to Tsunade-Sama.
I stood outside of her office and waited for a responce. "Enter !" I heard Tsunade-Sama say, and I entered. " Tsunade-Sama , during our mission we encountered Uchiha Itachi and Hoshigaki Kisame, they annihilated my whole team except me, but the mission was a sucess." I finished and handed the scroll to Tsunade-Sama. My mission was to retrieve a scroll from Kirigakure and bring it back to Konoha.
"Good job Akime, now get some rest." Tsunade-Sama said I nodded and left. I walked through the village into my apartment. I sighed and sat on my bed. "Itachi..."
