Brooke POV
It is my first day at the new studio. Hopefully Paige (stepsister) will stand by me be so I get can get used to the surroundings. Boy I was wrong, once we got to the front desk Paige rushed behind two doors and I went to the front desk. (Brooke-B Abby-A)
B- Hi my name is Brooke Hyland and my dad enrolled me here a month ago.
A- Hold on let me look through my files.(looks through her files) Yes Brooke it says here that you want to try out for the competition team that your step sister Paige is on.
B- Yep
A- Okay rehearsals starting ten minutes. Why don't you walk in the den where the other dancers are
B- Okay thank you.
I walk into the den and look around the den and see there is around 6 little kids and around 7 kids my age. (Nick-N Brooke-B)
N- Well, Well, Well look what we have here.
The boy looks around my age and has a group of people surrounding him.
N- Paige said she got a new sister. It is such a shame that you are a new addition to such a beautiful family, but that will all be ruin since you and your ugly self came. ( His friends laugh)
I go to move and sit in the corner of the room and Nick says
N- Now I have to disinfect that spot of the room
This was terrible already when was dance going to start. All I wanted to do was go home and cry. I had seven minutes till dance started so I put in my earphone and faced the wall in the corner while Nick and his friends threw jazz shoes at me. I decide it was time to get ready so I change into my dance clothes and put on my dance shoes. Abby yells signaling that is time for pyramid and Nick and six other girls get up and walk into a studio which I am assuming is studio a. I walk in and stand next to a small young girl. I am not on the pyramid because I have to try out for the competition team to see if I will make it.
A- What is your forte Brooke?
B- I am an acrobat ( I see Nick stiffen and I don't know why)
A- Well it looks like we are going to have three acrobats: Brooke Mackenzie, and Nick.
Ugh why did I say my forte was acro this is going to get me bullied even more at the studio.
I see Nick roll his eyes and I am worried.
A- Okay Brooke let me see your tricks, turns and leaps
I start of doing my turns and nail them, Next I do grand jete, and end with my best tricks.
A- Wow Brooke I am impressed, but I stil have a little deciding to do. This weekend we are going to New York, you will not have a solo but you will be in the group and have a due t with Nick.
nick groans and mutters something like I have a duet with that piece of crap? Lord help me.'
A- There will be some lifting in the number so Nick be prepared. Okay let's start with the duet.
I am not going to lie, Nick is a phenomenal dancer and we work great together. Abby gives us very few corrections and tells us to send Maddie in for her solo. I go and tell Maddie to go in the studio and walk to the water fountain outside the den. I see a tall girl waiting for me to be finish.
