I was discharged about a month later. During that time, only my mom and grandma had visited me. I asked if they had seen Alex, but they said they hadn't seen him since I showed up there.
I started to think he had left me. The day I was discharged I called my mom to come pick me up. I climbed in the car and started ranting about the awful food and horrible cleanliness so I needed a shower ASAP.
When I got home I headed straight for the downstairs shower. As I walked by, I saw the picture of my dad and mom on their wedding day. My dad had been go for about 3 years now from a car crash. I washed my sorrows away and went upstairs for some clothes.
I walked upstairs to my dresser and pulled out a gray Tshirt and some pj pants. I got dressed and settled befor I noticed the bouquet of tiger lillies. I shuffled to the awe of beauty and pulled the card.
Dear Alyssa,
If you are reading this, it means you are out of the hospital and home. I'm so glad. My number is below. Please call me, we need to talk.555-0605
**A N- this is not a real number, I made it up. 😂**
I picked up the landline phone since my other one was smashed. I dialed the number and it run 3 times before I heard the voice of the man that made me melt.
"Hello? Is this Allyssa?" He asked in a hopeful tone.
"Yeah it's me, what do you need?" I responded.
"Great! Uuh... I mean, can you meet me out front in like 45 minutes?" He asked
"Yeah, should I dress up?" I asked
"Go for a casual look." He said and he hung up.
I hung up the phone and started getting ready. I picked out a Lacey cami and a black leather jacket. I curled my hair loosely and put on mascara and a necklace. I told my mom and went out the door.
