Something about that night on the bridge, I was ready to die it may sound cliché but I was tired of living. At 3 o'clock in the morning I contemplated jumping as the wind blew me back-and-forth and I could ending my life right here. I took one step closer to the edge bridge. " get down from there!"
Lucas p.o.v
I was driving back into the city, when I saw a girl on the bridge, she looks as if same age as my little sister maybe a little younger. I kept thinking what if that was maya standing up on the bridge in her life so I pulled the car the complete stop. I got out the car trying think of way to stop her, she look angelic under of the streetlights as her chocolate brown hair blowing in the wind if she was an angel. " I get down from there, I bet your parents are worried sick!" I said as I ran hand down my face at the fact I sound with my parents. " don't try to save me I'm unsavable!" She said as she step closer to the edge, I shook my head in frustration what was I getting myself into. " how old are you?" I asked her and she turned to me with those deep brown eyes, I could've sworn I fall in love at moment. " i'm 16 " she took a deep breath and the dark blue sky seem swallow her whole as I got closer. " whatever is troubling you need to talk to someone, this is not the answer you're 16 you have so much life to live just come down and I'll take you somewhere we can talk." I told her her hands begin to shake she turned away from me. " understand I was humiliating there's naked videos me over Internet I was date raped and I can come back and it's going to die. " she confessed before stepping off the bridge " noooo!"
