It had been a day filled of lazily lounging around America's penthouse and taking naps as the couple got over their jet lag. While Russia was napping, America had set up a special date around New York to introduce his boyfriend to the joys of one of his best cities. It was around 6pm when America woke up the sleeping Russian, who had been passed out on the couch during America's planning of the date.

"Your clothes are in the bedroom. Now get changed. I'm taking you out." America stated bluntly.

"What-?" Russia question groggily, rubbing his violet eyes as he stood up from the couch.

"I'll be downstairs." the American spoke, a smirk crossing his face as he turned around and stepped into the elevator. Russia was still confused as to what was happening, but he wasn't going to argue with America. Nothing ever good came out of arguing with America.

Once Russia had gotten changed into the black suit America had picked out for him, he made his way down the elevator and into the lobby, where he was greeted by an equally suave America talking to Oscar, the doorman he had met earlier. Once the sound of Russia's footsteps reached America's ears, the American turned and flashed a charming smile at his confused boyfriend.

"Ready to go?" America asked with an excited childlike expression on his face. Russia furrowed his brown but nodded anyway, growing even more confused as the American gestured towards the door. They both thanked Oscar as they walked out the door and quickly hopped into the black car that America had waiting in front of his building.

Once they got in the car and started driving, Russia looked over at his boyfriend.

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see." the American responded, smirking as he held on to Russia's hand. Russia couldn't help but notice that America looked like a sexy James Bond in the suit he was wearing, so he started to laugh. America glanced over in concern, looking slightly annoyed as he asked "What?!"

"Nothing," Russia laughed, "It's just- you look like James Bond."

"Is that a bad thing?" he questioned, head tilting like a puppy.

"No... It's uh- it's pretty hot actually." Russia admitted, his face turning a crimson red in embarrassment. America laughed and gave him a kiss on the cheek, causing the Russian to blush even harder.

They were in the car for roughly 20 minutes before they stopped in front of a restaurant called "Butter Midtown". As they stepped out of the car America grabbed his boyfriend's hand and walked into the restaurant. Upon entering the building, Russia's marveled at the beautiful architecture. It was an entirely modern restaurant with wooden furniture and huge glass windows.

After hearing America call the restaurant "the first stop on a night of Yankee fun", Russia knew it was going to be a crazy night.

After the two finished an enchanting dinner complete with champagne and romantic candlelight, they hopped back into the cab to their next destination, Rockefeller Center. By now it had turned dark, and the humid summer day had turned into a beautifully breezy night. No longer did it feel like they were wading through a pool of human sweat.

Once they arrived at the beautiful Rockefeller plaza, Russia smiled at the sight of his country's flag flying proudly in the summer wind. As Russia stared at the famous golden statue of the Rockefeller plaza, America tugged on his arm impatiently, wanting to continue the already wonderful date they were having.

After rolling his eyes, Russia finally budged, following his boyfriend into the huge skyscraper. Once they entered, America gave one of the security guards a wink and the guard nodded, walking over to them with a serious expression on his face.
