Rose's crazy adventure with the Sohmas. *FINISHED*

Awkward silence.

I wake up to Kyo snoring. He fell asleep in my chair in my room. I figure i should let him sleep since of the concert yesterday. I put my blanket on him, and just look at him for a moment. He looks so calm while he's asleep, so...peaceful. I begin to move when the pervy dog enters my room without me knowing. "It's kinda creepy that your just watching him sleep you know." I jerk at the sound of his voice. "Shut up!" I whisper-yell "You're gonna wake him up! Go away!" I push him into the hallway until i know he's gone. Then i walk downstairs to see if Tohru's up yet. Nope. I head back up to my room. Kyo's gone! He musta woke up and left, because i see a note in the chair. "Thanks for the blanket.~Kyo" I smile at the note and get my clothes out. He must have had somewhere to go, because my window is open with one of his orange hairs in it. I throw the hair in the trash and close it my window. I get dressed and go back downstairs. Yuki's up. "Hi Yuki!" He must have not seen me come down the stairs because he jumps a bit at my voice, i giggle and pick up the bowl he dropped. "Thank you. And good morning :)" I tell Yuki about Kyo leaving through my window. He says that Kyo just probably went to the roof to relax. I say okay and go look for him. I check up on the roof first. He's not there. I check in all the closets, bathrooms, rooms. Nothing. I think he might have just wandered off somewhere, you know, how cats do, then you can't find them for hours and hours. Then after a while they just appear out of nowhere! I go back down and tell Yuki that i couldn't find him. We just both shrug it off, and head upstairs to our rooms. "Hey Yuki...." He just looks at me and says "Hm?" I try to say it in the nicest way i can "How come you didn't..um you know go to the concert yesterday?" He thinks about this for a while....there's an awkward silence. .............................................. "I just don't like the noise. And large crowds can scare me sometimes." I just stare at him to see if he's lying or not. He's not. "Yeah, they sometimes scare me too. Especially if i don't have someone i know with me." He smiles and we just kinda stay there...."Miss Rose, if you don't mind, would you like to take a walk with me after breakfast?" I agree and he goes to wake Tohru so she can make breakfast. I wonder how he wakes her up nicely. Kyo just either drags me, Throws something at me, screams, or turns on the radio or snores super loud. I prefer the throwing of something to be honest, then i can just throw something back, and it's over! XD I get back downstairs to see if we were out of some food, then i'll know if Kyo went to the store or something. Nope :\ I can't help but wonder where he is.......I hope he's alright. "Okay! Time to make breakfast!" Tohru is extra happy today. Just kidding, she's always this happy XD She makes some breakfast and Yuki and i sit down. "Ouch!" I sit on a pencil. "Why the heck was that there?!" Then i look at Yuki.. "Yuki." He looks at me and says "Yes?" "Your um sitting on a pad of paper." He looks very surprised."I am?!" He stands up and sees that he was in fact sitting on a pad of paper. We all start laughing at how weird it is. Then a moaning noise comes from the corner. Yuki jumps in front of me, and Tohru runs back behind him also. "Who's there!?"He yells at the weirdo in my house. I think i will call it "Our house", because i don't think they will leave, and i don't really want them to! Anyways, i need to focus on this weirdo in my house. The weirdo in my house starts snoring. Yuki approaches the weirdo slowly, me and Tohru are right behind him. He gets closer to the weirdo and i grab Yuki's arm. We all turn the corner to see who it is......and it's......the one who was missing....Shigure?! Why is he in the corner sleeping?! "What the heck is he doing?!" Yuki just keeps studying his face, as do the rest of us, to see if he is really sleeping. "I think he fell asleep working. What i want to know is why he's in the corner and not at his desk." We all wonder the same thing for a while. There's yet another awkward silence.........Until the perv snores and breaks it. Oh! We are going to eat soon. I'll ask if Yuki is still on for that walk he said after we eat :) We all eat and talk blah blah boring stuff! XD Then Yuki and I go for a walk. We try to get Tohru to come with us, she says that she needs clean up this mess. We tried again, but she wouldn't budge. She said "Plus if i don't go, you guys might get to know each other better!" Can't argue with Tohru's logic! XD We just walk in silence for a while. Yuki sees a flower blossom in the tree and puts it in my hair. I take it out to look st it. "Thanks!" He smiles at me and keeps walking. I feel like there's something wrong with him. Like, he's sad. I don't know how to describe it. Like, it's a fake smile. And fake happiness. Unlike Tohru's, which you can tell it's real by just looking at her. But with him, i just can't read him. "Hey Yuki....if there's anything like..bothering you...you can tell me you know..if you want." I act different with him then with anyone else. I don't know why, it's like i become more thoughtful and calm. I don't know... "Yes, there has been something bothering me. I don't know if your ready for it though." HUH?! NOT READY!? WHAT! Ugh! "You sure that i'm not.."ready.."?" He just stops and looks into my eyes for a second. It seems like hours though. "No. You're not yet ready." We start to walk again. Hmmmm maybe this walk wasn't such a good idea. I mean, what was he going to ask me? What am i not ready for!? Should be scared? Happy? Sad? Embarrassed? Sigh, i just don't know. I guess i will when i'm "ready". I just try to ignore it best that i can till we get to the house. I run back in yelling "We're back!" To try and get Tohru's attention so i can tell her what he said. I grab her without Yuki seeing and take her to my room to talk. I tell her everything and she just sits there thinking what it means. I sit next to her and do the same. We just sit there like idiots, thinking. Waiting for a brilliant answer to magically insert it's self into our minds. "Ugh! I give up!" I flop onto the bed backwards. She does the same. I'm sooo done. I just don't know. What am i not ready for?! Ughh! Ohmigod! This is driving me crazy!!! Someone knocks. "Come in" I say this sadly and defeated DX It's Yuki. "I heard you yell. I just wanted to know if you were okay." I am sooooo not okay! "Yeah! We're fine!" What is he my Mom? Okay..there is so much wrong with that last sentience. XD . He smiles and says "Okay, i just wanted to make sure :)" Then he shuts my door and leaves. I feel so defeated right now DX I really can't think of anything right now. Well, anything that doesn't involve aliens or monsters XD. Ugghhh. I'm just going to have to suffer through this until i'm "ready" :\ I look at the clock. "Ohmigod! It's 1:36! I need to get to bed! Bye Tohru!" I hug her and then let her leave. Maybe i'm really not ready. Maybe, i just need to wait for his answer. I change into my pajamas and get into my bed. I yell "Kyo! Crap! I forgot!" Tohru and Yuki kinda wonder in from my yelling. I keep smacking my face calling myself stupid over and over. Yuki comes over and sits next to me. I try to smack myself again, and i'm in mid-sentience, then he grabs my hand that was just inches away from my face. I just look at him. Tohru leaves,i wonder why. "Now, why would you call yourself that?" I just frown and tell him "I remembered that i forgot to search for Kyo some more! I'm worried about him." He puts his hands in mine and puts them in his lap. He says "Don't worry. He'll come back. Once he disappeared for four months without anyone knowing where he was. And he still came back :)" I am now sobbing. I haven't cried this much since my Mom died. I hug him forgetting the curse, and snuggle the little rat i'm left with.He's very taken back with this since i usually don't forget about it. "T-thank y-you." I'm now super sobbing as this tiny rat hugs my neck. I think i might drown him with my tears. I put him in my hands to make sure i didn't. See, that's one of the things about Kyo that i like better. If you hug him then you don't have to worry so much about him after you do, since he's bigger then Yuki's zodiac form, and by far more fun to snuggle LOL XD I pet Yuki like i would Kyo. He is a little weirded out by it, but quickly adjusts to my weird way of affection. Tohru decides it's safe to enter. I must have looked like i fell asleep, because Tohru just smiles, quietly squeals, and closes the door. Yuki's on my head now. I start to mutter something, i decide to hold it back, since i was going to ask what i'm not ready for. I fall asleep quickly. And hope that Kyo will come back.
