~Chapter Eight~

[Two weeks later]

Time had stopped;
Time had stood;
Time has reach its limit...

    This how I felt since the wedding Austin has been locked away in his room; the only time he came out was eat and to take a shower. Mom said he went into some sort of depression.
   Kelcy is also M.I.A., she only comes over if I call and I missed my best friend and brother so much.
Mom says it just a matter of time before everything goes back to normal, am still waiting for the day when that happens. As of right now.

  With both my brother and best friend was not talking to each other and as for Jake and I. We grown real close with each other. We hanged out, did things together. He is the first real guy friend I ever had. He is the first guy who actually never tried to make a pass at me.

   Sometimes I wonder what it's like to be kiss, to be in love. I never experience it before. Sometimes I wonder  why the first guy I liked doesn't like me back. Am I that ugly. I mean am not one of them model like girls. Am 5'3,  brown eyes and chocolate completion and black hair.

  Speaking of the devil and  it shall call call. I  glance at my phone  to see it was Jake calling me. I ignore it and went back to watching another favorite Degrassi.   I love me some Clare and Eli! 

  Then it rings again and again which I ignore for the fifteenth time. That still didn't stop him, he decided to text me.

[Jake]: Why are reading  my messages and not replying...

{Two minutes later}

[Jake]: Are you mad at me!!!

  Yes Jake am mad at you I yelled. Am mad that you constantly play with my feelings when you know that I really like you. That is what I really want to say but I can't; I can't tell him how I really feel. I am afraid of being rejected.

Justin told him on numerous occasions that I like him but what did he do; he laughed like it was some joke. A joke I didn't find was hilarious. I was so embarrassed that day, that I ran without turning back. Jake didn't miss me cause he was to busy flirting with Tiffany; to even notice I was gone.

    That was two days ago, I never went back to the park because I didn't want to see him. I left my job so now am currently a full time student at the college, whenever I see him on campus I usually hide until he is gone.

   

   Justin is the only one I talk to, he is a nice and a cool guy. He says that  one day Jake is going to feel the same way but when will that be when am old and grey. Hearing my phone ring I answered it without checking the number.

"Hello" I said.
"Mia, am outside" Jake said making  me drop my phone in shock.

  Oh my gosh what the hell was Jake Stevens doing outside my house. I walked down the stairs opening the front door to see. Jake with his hands in his pockets.

   "What are you doing here?" I asked him. He looked at me with a frown.
"Why are you ignoring me?"he asked.

Cause I love you Jake and I can't stand to see you with another girl.

"Mia talk to me" Jake said.

"Jake,I love you" I said as I ran back inside my house before he could say anything. I knelt down on the floor with my back against the door and cried. My phone vibrated in my pocket I look at it.

         [Jake]: Please talk to me!!!!

Why can't he say it back...
