As I walk up the empty hallway I catch a glimpse of my teacher entering the classroom,"yeah I'm late again" I sigh to myself.I walk up the hallway and into the classroom "late again Amelia"said Mrs Allan's, "Yeah sorry miss"I said quietly, "Better not happen again Amelia next time will lead to a detention". I walk over to where I usually sit,open my bag and lay my boring old books on my table,then I take a seat.Then go into my pocket and pull out my phone,then I plug in my earphones and listen to my music while the teacher is talking about our lesson.
RIIINNGG!!.
"Finally schools out for the summer"I sigh in delight to myself. I walk outside the school doors to meet up with Alicia."Alicia is my best friend I've known her since I moved to this school,she's super nice and always supports me". As I get out the front of the school I can see Alicia I walk up to her,"heyy Amelia" says Alicia. "Oh hey". "What's up Amelia you look down" "nothing I'm fine". "Okay let's go and walk home then" as we walk home we both talk about what we are going to get up to during the summer break but I had to hurry and get home cause my mother wanted to talk to me and she said its urgent I I hurriedly walk home.
Once I get through my front door and into my house my mother calls me from the living room,so I take off my shoes and put my bag down and walk into the living room. "Hey honey" my mother says quite loudly. "Hey mother,what did you

Well honey she's dying and I was wondering because the doctors said its her last few months I was wondering if you wanted to go to England to see her". "What when,and for how long would I be gone ?" "well I was thinking you should go there for the full summer,but your auntie said you can bring Alicia with you because she knows how much Alicia means to you". "Oh right okay,I'll go and message Alicia". "Okay honey it's nice you agreeing to go,I'll give her a phone to say you will come".
As I walk out of the living room and upstairs into my room I close my room door and begin to text Alicia.
