The one thing we think is the most crucial
But we don't understand how they can be brutal
'Cause if they lack one word first
They won't be the best, just the worst
True friends are all we need
Not money selfishness gadgets or greed
But not just normal everyday friends
You need the proper gems
Don't you know life's unrehearsed
You're thrown into the deep headfirst
One person to stand by your side
For the times when you aren't dry eyed
Friends have endless titles
BFF, Best friend, but most vital
A true friend who will always be there
No matter what time or where
True friends are all we need
Not money selfishness gadgets or greed
To be there in the darkest times
To buy the the best wines
I realise you don't know what you are to me
Bet you think you're really just a nobody
'Cause sometimes I forget to thank
You for being there when life is blank
I'm sorry I forgot to say thank you
But I know you do sometimes too
We both know what each others worth
We wouldn't be able to live alone on this earth
But every day that passes by
I think of you all day and night
You are more than a friend to me
A true friend is all you'll ever be
True friends are all we need
Not money selfishness gadgets and greed
'Cause those people will help you day by day
But most of all they will never go away.
