Haruhi's little sister

Chapter 1

Hey guys I had an idea for a Haruhi sister story, and I thought an overprotective Haruhi would be a nice story, I'll try to update as much as I can. This chapter is going to be a bit depressing but the next one won't be I promise. Enjoy! I do not own OHSHC.

*Mai's pov*

I was in the basement of this house. I hate this place. I want to go home. It's been like forever.

The last thing I remember was being with my big sister and my papa. We were saying bye bye to momma. I didn't understand papa said she was sleeping. Why she was sleeping in a box I didn't know.

Then afterwards a man grabbed me and took me and my panda (yes it was previously bunny, my editing didn't catch it the first time) away. I cried for hours and hours. I wished for my papa and sister but it never happened. The woman found me and started treating me like the child she never had. They home schooled me and we're ready to send me to kindergarten.

That's when I found out. I didn't belong there. I ran away. Five years. That's how long they kept me there.

I ran to a nearby park and looked for someone to help me. I found a boy who didn't look too much older than me, he had blonde hair and was holding a bunny.

I walked up to him crying, I was so nervous and scared. He turned around hearing me. " hey don't cry, what's wrong?" He said "I-I" I broke down crying "please help me, I want to go home" he hugged me and when I calmed down he asked my name "I'm Mai Fujioka can you help me find my papa and sister?" I said teary eyed.

His face lit up and he called a tall man over, I hid behind him scared. "Is your sister's name Haruhi?" He asked. My face lit up and I nodded. He smiled and said they would help.

I soon learned his name is Honey and his cousin's name is Mori. They are third years in high school. The same school my sister goes to.

We walked and talked until we reached an apartment place. We walked up the stairs and Mori knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal a boy, no girl, with short hair. She looked surprised and invited us in.

"Hey Honey-sempai, Mori-sempai who is this?" She sounded so familiar then I started tearing up, she looked at me and started tearing up too.

"M-Mai? Is that really you?" She asked. I ran to her and hugged her crying. She kept mumbling that she couldn't believe it, and that she was sorry. I hugged her tightly and said it was okay.

Soon we calmed down, she thanked them and put me on her hip since I was sleepy. They talked and I fell asleep happy to finally be home.

*Haruhi's pov*

I put Mai on my hip as she fell asleep. I was so happy to have her back. I thanked Honey and Mori multiple times.

They left saying it was getting late and that they were happy to help and that they'd see me tomorrow. They also said to bring her to the club tomorrow.
I put Mai down in my bed and we fell asleep.
