Fighting Cranks

The cranks were getting closer by the minute and Seth and I were ready to put up a fight. Seth pulled out his sword while I put an arrow in my bow. The cranks were coming close so Seth ran to the cranks and started cutting off their heads. I stayed were I was and just started shooting at their heads. The cranks weak spot were their heads so we had to hit them there. I had to go back to pick my arrows back up from the cranks heads but once I got down to pick one up there were already two cranks on top of Seth. Seth was trying so hard to push them off but were too strong for him. I took out my bow and aimed for one of the cranks head as soon as it made contact with it the cranks blood went on Seth's face. I ran to get another arrow while Seth pushed the crank right off. Seth started to stab the crank so many times letting his anger out on it. Seth kept on screaming at the crank and jabbing it with his sword. I just stood there waiting for him to finish up his killing. Not to be mean or anything but I was in an awkward situation here I didn't know what to do usually Tony or Jenny would of handle these things but they aren't here. Seth fell to the ground trying to catch his breath while looking up at the ceiling. "So hey Seth, would you like to explain what just happened or is that for another time" I asked looking at the crank and back to Seth who was covered in blood. "I'm just great lets just go fine the others and get the heck out of here" he said getting up wiping off some of the blood on his face. I think he was remembering the day Kadi died right in front of his eyes. He needs to start forgetting about Kadi she's gone and we have other problems we need to solve with him. I know I need to help him forget about Kadi but she was just a person. We had many others die back in the maze how is she any different. Seth and I have been running to get to where everyone else was at but when we got there nobody was there. Everything and everyone was gone, nothing was left behind for us to have. We didn't know exactly what to do cause they took everything that we can survive with. We had to start running and think where Nic would lead the group. We didn't know exactly where Nic would lead the group to cause Nic has a mind of a maze. We never know where he would go.
It was getting dark so we had to go into a torn down building to keep hopefully safe. We settled down on the true floor of the building but then again we didn't have anything besides our weapons. We sat there waiting till we fell asleep on our own. Seth was just sitting there sharpening his sword. "Seth are you sure you don't want to talk cause last time I saw you were stabbing a crank multiple times." "I said I'm doing great. Luke how many times do I have to tell you this!" "Ok I'm just asking so you don't act up like that in front of the rest of the group." Seth didn't say anything back he just sat there with his eyes closed. "So now you're just going to ignore me." I said in an annoyed voice. Seth stayed quiet and I just shook my head disappointment. He just sat there trying to get some rest for the next day. I don't really know what we were supposed to do without any supplies to survive. We kinda just had to rely on our bodies holding up the heat, our thirst, and our hunger. The problem was also how could we find Nic and the others without moving farther away from them. How do we actually know that we are getting closer to the others. We actually might be moving away from them and that won't help us at all. It was morning and we still had to decide on where to go. Our only choice was either just keep walking around or just head for the mountains. "Which way do you think they went to." I asked Seth. "I really don't know Luke. It's not like I care anymore." "Seth you should really care. I also really need your help we need to decide on where to head off to." Seth just kept quiet and didn't really answer. Seth sat back down in the sand like he has given up already. While I just sat across from him.

Thanks for reading and thanks for waiting till I updated. I think and hopefully I am done over the personal thing I was going through. I thought about everything really hard. Anyways if you didn't get this basically Seth and Luke have been separated from the group. Seth is still trying to forget about Kadi while Luke try's to help him get through her. They are both trying to figure out which way to go to find the rest of the group. Yea I know this chapter was boring but I'm glad people are reading this book. Ok till next chapter.
