"I got you, come on!" I hear a guys voice say as they pick me up and drop me on the cold sidewalk, laying on top of me."Shit, I'm sorry" I hear the voice say as he gets up from laying on top of me.
I open my eyes and see Jeremiah's distressed face."Are you ok?" he asks me,"No, I don't think so..I tripped and my ankle hurts like hell.." I answer as I try to stand up and walk but stagger. "Erica, are you ok?" Amber says running up to me. "No my ankle hurts like shit," I say holding my ankle hoping the pain.
"Come on, my dad works at the hospital, he can run x-rays to see if it's sprained or not..Did you drive here?" Jeremiah asks."Yeah, but I'll be fine." I reply."Resting with an ice pack won't help it, green eyes." he says."You don't know that..Amber drive me home." I say tossing her my keys as Jeremiah catches them."Hey give her my keys!" I yell to Jeremiah."Er I think you should let his dad see it." Amber says."No! Now take me home!" I yell to Amber."Erica.." she says looking worried."Fine leave me here, give me my keys back!" I yell at both of them stick my hand out to Jeremiah."Ok here.." Jeremiah says handing my keys back, before I could take them Amber snatches them from his hand,"Come on let's go, her car is this way." says Amber as Jeremiah helps me up and puts my arm around his buff and solid shoulder. Limping to my car with Amber and Jeremiah, I sit in back, Jeremiah in the passenger, and amber in the driver's seat.
"I can't believe I ever liked him." I say as I feel tears start to form. "Fuck him Erica, if you thought he was the best thing out there for you, there's someone even better out there..and probably waiting for you." she says. "Love you." I say. "Love you more Er." she says back.

Upon arriving at the ER my parents showed up shortly after.
"Oh my gosh! what happen to you baby!" my says rushing to me hugging and kissing on my head.
"Hi I'm Doctor Matthews." He says as he puts his hand out to shake my parents hands.
"She has sprained ankle, she tripped on the curb she said. She'll be in a cast and crutches for 4 to 6 weeks." he explains.
"How did this happen? what were you girls up to anyway?" my dad questions as turns his head to Amber. Jeremiah's dad leaves the room. "We were just getting ice cream and as we were leaving I tripped and fell on the corner of the curb." I explain.

As were leaving the hospital I see Jeremiah sitting in the waiting room, we make eye contact and he nods his head up and I give a side grin, Amber waves.
"Thanks again Doctor!" my dad says as he shakes his hand.
