Hello. My name is Laura Ethers. I am 18 years old...But I was only 16 when Harry Styles: My best friend, left for the X-Factor. At first, I was ecstatic! My best friend is going to be on T.V, singing, doing what he loves! That was an amazing feeling. We would talk about it everyday for weeks!
I even helped him choose the song: 'Isn't She Lovey'-Stevie Wonder. I love his voice. Ever since we where little, we would sing together. I wouldn't say I am good, but Harry does... ALL THE TIME!
Ever since I moved into the neighborhood when I was three, we spent every second together! I spent most of my time at his house because...Well, my Mum and dad. They didn't really care abut me; only my brother. My mum wanted to get me aborted. I was a total mistake! Just the result of a broken condom and lack of birth control. I never knew why they didn't get me aborted, or put me up for adoption. They probably where just to damn lazy! I truly, deeply, with all my heart, hate my father.
"Your a little BITCH!"

"Bitch!"

The things I heard nearly everyday. It hurt. That's why I spent so much time at Harry's. I never told Harry's parents about the things that happened at so called "home." Only Harry knew. And only Harry knew that I cut. I did it a lot. I was depressed a lot, and very sad.
I slept over a lot.
This went on until I was 12, when my father actually struck me, only to be cheered my my mum. I never thought in a million years my own parents would do such a awful thing... I was beaten right there. I did nothing about it either. Just layed down as I was punched and kicked. All I did was raise my voice at my father. He had told me to get the fuck out, and I had yelled, "Fine! I hate you!" I was grabbed before i could even blink. After the beating was over, I had ran sobbing over to Harry's. I told them everything. Every God damn thing! Anne (Harry's Mother.) called the police and both of my parents where arrested.
Anne said she would become my brother and I's gaurdain; but my brother didn't want to. He moved in with his friend Ben. Just the though of moving in with them got me over joyed! I actually started sobbing with joy. I grew up there with my new family. My new mum.
Now I am 19... I guess I could tell you another thing... I am a parent now. I have a three year old daughter, and the father doesn't even know! Her name at Kaitlyn... Kaitlyn Styles.
