On the first day of school, christina was so nervous. She wondered if it would be any different from her other experiences. At every school she would get bullied and the teachers didnt do anything. She was 15 years old, short brown hair, and kind of big. She was also bipolar and bisexual.
Right away she saw her crush. Celeste Zamora. Christina was too nervous to even go up to her. She realized that they had all but 1st period with eachother. Christina was so happy to know that.
One day in english class, the teacher sat christina and celeste right next to eachother. They turned out to be best friends. They gained eachothers trust and christina was so happy. She fell in love.
one month later, things changed. Celeste got a new bestie. Salma. Because of that, celeste never talked to christina. Only texted.
There was a day when salma asked celeste who she liked better. She said salma. Later that night she texted christina.
CHRISTINAS POV
Wow. I cant believe celeste really said that in front of my face. Oh look, a text. From celeste.
Celeste: hi
me: hi
Celeste: are you mad at me for saying that salma was better?
Me: no. its fine. Really. I get it. You just wanted to tell salma. I understand.
celeste: well im sorry antways. I really thought that you were better.
I didnt text back because I knew that if she cared about me more she wouldve said it. About 2 months later, I went to talk to her and tell her that I was pretty sure that salma was in the way of our friendship. I guess she got so mad that she didnt want to be my friend. Her exact words were:
"fine I guess we shouldnt even be friends then!" She walked back to her friends and started laughing again like nothing happened. I walked away with tears streaming down my face.
