All Mixed Up

Chapter 1

"Garrett! Wait up!" I  shouted to my best friend. Garrett turned around and took out his earbuds. His long blonde hair bounced as he turned around. He was wearing a portal hoodie only 3/4 zipped up and his backpack hung as low as possible. Once Garrett spotted me he smiled and waved. He waited for me to struggle against the current of people.

When I reched himly he gave me a small shove, I grinned. " Your'e a jerk" he said still smiling. "Ditching me on twin day!?" The day before, we were supposed to dress alike but I was sick and stayed home. People always say we look alike exept he is nine inches taller.

We started walking twords the spot where we meet with his family friends Emma and Liam. He went on and on about how he spent all his allowence on a pair of fake glasses, a striped vneck, a DC hoodie, and a black pair of pants (my every day outfit). "Im really sorry Garrett" I say. "Truthfully I am. I was really looking forward to it. Mabye we can do it tomorrow?" 

"Fine" he said. "but if you dont show-"

"Which I will" I cut in.

We reached the small hill in between the school driveway and the fire station and Emma And Liam were alredy there. Emma is 12, the same age as Garrett, Liam is 9, and I am 13. Emma is a tonboy and hates dresses and makeup... but today she was bet $10 she couldnt go a day with makeup on. She has shoulder length brown hair and it was not in a hairtie (which it usually is). 

Liam has very curly brown hair and frekles. He was wearing a pikachu t-shirt with a fake hood on the back and fake pockets. He is Emma's brother.

"Do we have to wait for Kayla today?" I asked. Kayla is Garretts older sister.

"Yes" said Garrett. "We always do."

Emma came over and jumped on my back. "WEEEEEEE!!!!" She screamed. I fell backwards and started laughing. Emma has a crush on me but she doesn't know that Liam, Garrett, and Kayla told me. I act like I don't know so things don't get awkward. We fool around until Kayla shows up.

We start walking to the corner store which is on the way to all three of our houses. I pull four crumpled dollar bills and fifty-six cents. I give a dollar to everybody exept Kayla because she has her own money. When we got to the corner store we all split up throughout the tiny store. We all meet up at the counter with our soda and chips. We are all basically family so Emma and I share a soda and Garrett and Liam have their own. I also bought a giant bag of chips for us all to share.

"You like Jamie don't you?" Emma asked me.

"Ya" I said smiling. Jamie is a girl in my a couple of my classes. She is one of very few girls that are shorter than me (Emma is the same as me). "Im thinking of asking her to the dance."

"Eeeeeeee!" Emma squealed. She shook me around. "You two would be so cute together!" She screamed. 

The rest of the way to my house I didn't say much. I just sipped from my can and stayed very quiet. When I got home I went up to my room and slipped off my shirt and hid under the covers on my bed.
