Diary Of A Not So Happy Camper

Hi my name is Maddie this year my parents are making me go to summer camp.I hate it already and I haven't even gotten their yet I'm still packing this is worst than drinking out of a toilet. Try telling that to my parents all they think about is sunshine rainbows and caring about the universe. Im not that kind of girl who is into going outdoors I think staying indoors is way more better than going to some stuck up boring summer camp I mean I don't have a choice really. I mean who would want to spend the outdoors doing what sleeping in a cabin filled with screaming girly spirits which if your like them you would know their called girls.I just wish they would hop off you know.

Well I just got to this summer camp my mom literly lured me out of the car with 50 bucks I mean come on she could have given me 50 more. The worst part is she took my phone and Gave me this 1960 poloroid camera I mean it wouldn't kill her to give me a 2016 camera that's actually in our century she just enjoys making me feel embaressed doesn't she? How could she? augh she makes me sick sometimes. My dad on the other hand can be cool except when my mother gives him the look. You know that look that your mother gives your father to tell them they shouldn't give you that icecream or the last of the chocolate cake you bought at the cheese cake factory. Anyways she took my phone away and the next thing I knew I was at camp. I looked up and seen a banner saying welcome girls and boys to camp leadership. I looked around and as I turned I saw a couple of counsilers they gave me a name tag and toled me I was going to cabin number 10 I walked into the cabin and saw this really cheerful girl run up to me and screamed saying we were going to be cabin bunk buddies what ever the hell that meant but okay I guess this camp was going pretty well. I met a couple of other girl their were 8 girls in total  including me plus two counsilers we were all 12 years old. Their names were jorden,Karina,Kate,jayleen,selina,Audrey,Melissa,and last but not least me Karina and Kate are twins. You could say there nice when they don't fight I guess.

The worst thing about this camp is the boys are obnoxious I mean I thought this was a all girls summer camp until I found out by jorden and I saw cabin 15. There are like 20 cabins ten are girls and ten are boys. And if my mother wasn't too busy looking at the beach and the cabin service here she would have known that and maybe I would've gotten 50 more bucks for that too. But I went down to the beach today in my triangle bathing suit I saw the cutest boy ever usually I don't really care about boys I'm into art and reading and sometimes hanging with my friends well my old friends. My family moved to California after my father got a new job here in LA. To bad they couldn't move here with me!
Anyways this boy was a little tan had brown hair with the cutest hazel but his eyes I mean my dog would drewl over him and she is a dog.well Jordan told me not to go after him because she heard Ashley dated him and I asked who is Ashley and she said she was this really popular girl in camp. That her parents were rich. Then I asked her if her parents were so rich why was she going to this camp. Jorden said that her parents were hoping it would change Ashley's personality but it didn't do anything. We are only 12 and Ashley is like 14 meaning she was more experienced she also had her period. and we didn't at least I didn't but I didn't tell that to jorden because i thought that jorden would be confused anyways I wasn't afraid of this Ashley girl. Whether I met her or I didn't she wasnt going to faze me experienced or not that just means she will be even more meaner.

Well I met ashley today she was really mean but I showed her who's boss. She walked near me and said take a picture it will last longer. So I told her I wouldn't want to I'm pretty sure my phone would break. Ashley replied this isn't over, flipped her hair and walked away with her little squad behind her as if they were her slaves. As soon as she left I realized this would last another 2 months and I wasn't ready for her but as my best friends used to tell me keep your friends close and enemies closer. Meaning I had to stick with my friends but I would still have to keep an eye on this ashley girl I had to watch my back and make sure I watch it closely.I just knew she would be planning to get me back for our little chat but hey she started it and if she wanted a fight bring it on she just better make sure she still has her little squad to back her up when I strike back.

Well I went to the dining hall and what do you know Ashley was there she came up to me said you don't belong here. So I said you know what Ashley you haven't checked the mirror this morning because clearly you don't belong here. Ashley stormed off again and jorden was so happy for me she said no one ever does this kind of thing and I said what kind of thing so jorden said people don't stick up for themselves when ashley snaps at them she said that ashley has the power that no one wants to come across. But I was still looking forward to crossing that power. I am starting to think that my parents were right summer camp isn't so bad.

I thought this camp was going to be boring but I met some pretty nice girls and I even met that boy I liked turns out his name is Emanuel and he is really nice. He asked me to the camps dance it was amazing I had a blast but Ashley wasn't happy and that's when I realized that this Ashley girl is not a bad person shes just jealous and thats what I told her. Then she said I have it all wrong that she was just upset that she thought I was going after her when I was seeing Emanuel and now were good friends how amazing is that? Who would have thought that we would turn out to be friends.

Well in two weeks time we have to leave I'm sad about it but at least I had a good experience and you know what I'm coming back next year and I have everyone's snapchat,instagram,and twitter so im not as sad plus I got Emanuel's number and we all live close to each other and I look forward to having a blast well I hope to come back and I learned things might not turn out the way you expected them to come out but you know what I am satisfied with everything I've did this summer.😉
