See You Next Summer! (Gravity Falls)

Chapter one: Returning.

Me and Mabel got on to the bus back to peidmont. I looked out the window seeing the water tower pass by. I already miss this place. Then I remembered the note Wendy gave me. What did it say on it anyway? I opened it up seeing all me and Mabel's friends signitrues surrounding the words 'See you next summer!'

One year later

Dippers POV

Me and Mabel walked off the bus to gravity falls. She still had waddles with her. That pig has lasted through a lot.

I looked up seeing Soos, Stan, Ford, Wendy, Grenda, and Candy. Me and Mabel ran up to hug our Grunkles. They laughed. Oh my gosh I haven't heard they're voices in so long, even if it is just a laugh. We went back from the hug. They got down to our level and smiled at us. I saw some tears in Grunkle Stans eye.

"Gosh I've missed you kids." He said

"I have too." Ford added.

"We've all missed these kids!" Wendy said laughing, coming in to hug us. Soos joined. Then Candy and Grenda. We stayed in a big pile for a while (rhyming!).

It's good to be back.

Me and Mabel just finished unpacking in the attic. Her and I are still staying in the shack despite Soos owning the mystery shack now. He turned the room with the body switching carpet into a guest room for Stan and Ford when they vist. Just as soon as I layed down on the bed Wendy burst into  the room.

"GUYS SOMETHING AWFUL JUST HAPPENED!" She yelled.

I jumped up and Mabel turned to face her, stopping her from hanging up her posters.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" I yelled. "YOU GUYS AREN'T DOWN STAIRS AT THE MOVIE NIGHT WE'RE HAVING!" I quickly relaxed agian. "Ugh you scared me." I said falling back on my bed. I heard her laugh. She came over to me and ruffled my hair. "Still paranoid I see." I laughed at her words. It's true, the apcolypce had made me a lot more paranoid.

We walked downstairs to the old living room. It's stayed pretty much the same. It still had the old chair Grunkle Stan loves, but now Soos and Melody added a new couch for all of us.

We all sat down as the movie started. There was popcorn and pizza too. It's turns out, it wasn't even a movie! It was duck-tective! Oh my gosh I've missed this show.

"What is this? Some kind of duck detective?" Great-uncle ford asked.

"It's duck-tective!" Mabel said, jumping up in his face. "What's a duck-tective?" We laughed as Mabel explained.

Eventually, at the end of the marathon, we (Soos, Wendy, me, Mabel, Stan, Ford, Grenda and Candy) all fell  asleep on the old couch.
