*Steven Pov*
"Hey Steven get up. We have to be at the clinic in an hour." Lauren said tapping my shoulder. My eyes opened slowly and I groaned. I was exhausted from all the love making we'd did the previous night.
"Morning." I said kissing her and she smiled.
"Please get up, I'm excited!" She said.
"Me too!" I replied.
"So Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up. I figured that maybe we could have Christmas in our new house!" She chirped.
"Whoa! That's in a month! I don't think we'll be ready for that!" I laughed.
"I mean we can hired painters and movers and, and-"
"Lauren breath! We haven't even looked for a house." I said.
"I have actually." She said grabbing her lap top and laying next to me in bed.
She pulled up 3 houses. One was in Beverly Hills, One was pretty secluded with little neighbors and the last was in a little community.
"The community could be nice." She said.
"Yeah that's true but there's such a lack of privacy. What if we live next to some crazy fans or something?" I laughed and she nodded.
"It is a gated community though. Nobody without a code or an access word can get in." She explained.
"That is nice but there aren't 12 bedrooms." I joked and she laughed.
"No there are four. One for us, one for the baby, and two guest rooms. Or other baby rooms maybe." She smiled and I kissed her cheek.
"Yeah maybe." I smiled back.
"The Beverly Hills one is gorgeous but not very kid friendly." She said and I nodded.
"Plus the Beverly Hillians are not the greatest people to raise a kid around." I said and Lauren nodded.
"So true." She said.
"Well the last one is nice. Very secluded not very many neighbors but it's really far away from everything. Imagine going into labor and having to drive all that way just to get into the city!" I said and Lauren winced.
"Oooooh you are so right. I might give birth up on that hill." She said.
"Speaking of birth did you want to do a home birth?" I asked. I was reading up on different types that women have chosen, hospital seemed the safest but they take the baby so quickly.
"No I really want a hospital birth." She said and I nodded.
"Alright sounds good." I said.
"Shit we really need to go!" She exclaimed and we hopped out of bed. She was already pretty much ready but I needed to hurry up. I got into the shower real quick and when I got out I quickly brushed my teeth and hair. I ran into our bedroom and put on a grey tee shirt, some dark jeans, some black tennis shoes and my favorite black and white hat. Lauren was wearing a loose shirt and a black blazer with light jeans and ballet flats.
"You ready?" She asked tucking a piece of long hair behind her ear. She was wearing her seeing glasses for once. I nodded and we walked out.

*At The Clinic*
"Alright I know you want this private so my wife is going to help me. She's actually an OBGYN. I can just make you one of her patients if that's ok with you." Dr. Anderson said.
"That sounds great thank you." Lauren said and he smiled.
"Well then you'll need to go to the maternity ward." He replied and we nodded.
We walked through the hallway of the tiny place.
It had a Kaiser Permanente lay out but was more tucked back and exclusive which we were thankful for.

"Ah Miss.Cohan right this way." Mrs. Dr. Anderson said.
"Nice to meet you." Lauren said shaking her hand. I shook her hand too.
"Is this the baby's father?" She asked looked me up and down.
"Yeah he is." Lauren said smiling at me.
"Ah so you got did the whole costar thing. Smart choice. It lasts longer." She laughed leading us to the back.
"I'm going to check your weight and body fat." She said and Lauren nodded. Lauren took off her shoes and stepped on the scale. "How tall are you Lauren?"
"5'7." She replied to the doctor and she nodded.
"Well your weight is honestly perfect for your height but you're a little underweight for a pregnancy. You also have very very little body fat. Which is good..... You will gain weight with this pregnancy and don't think you can't because of your show. You need to eat for the baby but you can also work out. Yoga is a great one." She said as Lauren stepped off the scale.
"I completely understand. I'm not one of those celebrities." Lauren said and Dr.Anderson nodded.
"Thank goodness, I get a lot of those sometimes." She said. "Follow me into the exam room."
We followed her through the hallways and into a dimly lit room. "I'm going to get an ultrasound. I'll try to do it through the stomach and if that doesn't work we'll do it vaginally." She explained and Lauren and I nodded. Lauren pulled up her shirt and Dr. Anderson squirted blue jelly onto Lauren's stomach.
"Oh wow that cold." Lauren said with a shiver and a small laugh.
"Yeah sorry! I should've warned you. Honestly the warning doesn't help though." Dr. Anderson laughed, she switched on the ultra sound machine and it hummed to life. She placed the wand on Lauren's stomach and swirled it around. "Seems like we have a little image here." She said pointing to the screen. Lauren and I looked up excitedly and saw a black figure looking shape.
"That's our baby?" I questioned.
"Yes." She replied. She flipped a switch and a heart beat filled the room.
"Oh my god." Lauren said covering her mouth. Tears spilled down her face.
"Looks like you're 4 months along. Your baby seems right on schedule too. I can see little legs and arms growing. Looks like you'll be due in April. April 15th by the looks of things. You're showing now, I can tell, but next month it's going to be harder to hide things. That's when your baby really starts growing at a rapid rate." She explained and we nodded while Lauren dried her eyes. Wow. I looked at the screen again. That's my son or daughter. I smiled widely and kissed Lauren's forehead. Dr.Anderson took a picture, gave Lauren a wipe to wipe the goo off and left the room. Lauren wiped her stomach and got up. There was a mirror in the room so she looked into it.
"I never noticed how big I was getting." She smiled.
"I wasn't really paying attention either." I confessed. Lauren sighed and looked at me.
"We didn't even know what month I was Steven! That's bad. We really need to pay more attention to our child." She said and I hugged her.
"Don't worry we will. I promise. We were just rushing around and then you got sick. Now we're home, we can take things slow before we go to Europe if you're still up for the trip. Now why don't we go grab some lunch and see when we can look at that house?" I suggested and Lauren nodded.
"That sounds good. And yeah I still want to go to Europe." She pulled down her shirt and we walked out of the room hand in hand.
