It was just another day working in the office, same'll same"ll. I went to the copy machine to get the complex arrangement of words for my new case. This case was different from the others, strange, sort of gave me the chills now that I think about it. I set the papers down on my desk then started to read. by the time I was done reading this 10 page packet, I realized work had gotten twenty minutes ago!
I slickly slid the packet into my file cabinet and left. On the way home I had stopped at my favorite restaurant, "Rubin's", and picked up a small meal. I got into my freshly painted, black challenger and speeded home. Finally I'm home. I plopped down on my bed and pulled out my phone. Hm, i looked at my email, it read "No Messages". Boy am I lonely, no boyfriend, barely any friends, a small family. Oh well, at least i have Eli Marson, my partner for my detective work. He's not half that bad, but I'm pretty sure I caught him checkin me out the other day. Still on my phone I scroll through my facebook until I get an unexpected message. Oh my goodness!!!! It's from Drew ponds! Drew and I were so close, we loved each other so much. After high school we just didn't keep in contact, I didn't have the time with all of this detective work. Anyways the message says
"Hey, it's me Drew, I was wondering if you wanted to meet up sometime, I really miss you and thought it would be amazing to see you".
"Drew! Wow, Hey! And yea I'd love to meet up with you". I replied back
