Frozen in time.

Chapter 1: It all begins.

July 29th, 2029, 12:00 o'clock. Your alarm blares for you to get ready for work at 2 a.m. You want to hit snooze but you know you can't be late for work yet again. You get up and walk to the bathroom to get ready when you look outside to see it is pouring rain. You want to stay home and not drive 13 miles out of nowhere into the town just to work for 7 hours, but you can't miss work and you know that. You go into the bathroom and hop into the shower and wash your long curly black hair and brush your teeth while your in there. When you get done with your shower you remember you didn't grab any towels and that you would have to walk through room room dripping wet to grab a towel from the dryer. You look at the clock and see that it has been 12 o'clock for some time now. You grab your clock and see if it has batteries and it does. You take them out and the red light on the clock still says 12:00. "REALLY I JUST BOUGHT YOU" you scream even though no one can hear you. You set the clock back down and pick up the picture that sits next to it. You look at how young your mom looked and how happy you two looked together, then you looked and saw how tall your dad was. But the memories flood in. That was the week you guys got into a fight. She wanted to kick you out she didn't appreciate you anymore. You told them you didn't love them anymore. But that night while they were on a train it went off the railing and they both ended up dying. You missed them and you still do but they should have never said what they did. You go to grab your phone to turn it on and see what time it is hoping you haven't spent way too long thinking about your family but when you turn it on it says 12:00 and it shows that the second alarm on your phone was going off but no noise. "What is going on?" You start to wonder if you just broke everything in your house, but you don't really know. You go to the window and look outside to see that the rain stopped froze in the air and through the trees you could see that people weren't moving cars were still everything was frozen. You think you're asleep but when you slap or pinch yourself you just jump in pain. How come i can move things but they can't change they are just frozen. You go for the door to the garage so you can drive around to see if everything is frozen or if it is just your mind playing tricks on you. You get into your car and start it and head into town but have to stop when there are cars frozen in the street and no way to make your way around, so you get out of the car and start walking. You walk to the nearest coffee shop which happens to be where you work to see that nothing is moving everything is still frozen. You then realize this isn't your mind playing tricks on you this is reality. You could be the last person to walk the earth or be able to move in this case. You start to think, i will never fall in love or how will i survive out here without someone who can farm or someone who can fix things. You keep on thinking until your thoughts are interrupted by a scream coming from a man down the road from you. You can't quite understand what he is screaming but you think he might be yelling hello to see if anyone can hear him or yell back. You scream "OVER HERE HEY COME OVER HERE" He starts to run towards you running around all of the frozen people to make it to you, and as he gets closer you can see his bright blue eyes and his slick back bright blonde hair. Once he reaches you you notice how tall he is and that his once white tank top is see through from running into the rain that froze in mid air. He notices you staring and asks you why you were looking at his chest. You start to blush and you stutter "Oh i uh y-your shirt is just a little see through and i was uh looking at your muscles" When you finish your sentence you notice that the man is looking you up and down. " Oh sorry my name is Lane what's your's?" He has such a sweet voice and his name is cool "Oh uh My name is Lacey" He smiles when he hears your name. "That's a cute name" You blush even more at that comment. "We should probably go see if anyone else can move and that i mean i hope it isn't just us 2" He agrees with you and points to a few houses and areas that you should go to. "I know the people who live there but they are out of town and i don't think my phone will let me call them." You nod in agreement and start to walk back to your car. " Hop in we are going to go to my house and talk for a little just so i can get to know you and see if we can contact anyone." You both get into your car and drive to your house where you too dry off drink coffee and talk for what may be hours.

Authors Note: Before i continue this i want to hear your guy's opinion and ideas on what should happen next. Yes i did use Pentatonix as my cast because they are all sexy and perfectly describe the characters. :) I hope you send ideas of what should happen next.
