Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.
Many years later... MT. EBOTT 201X
Legends say that those who climb the mountain never returns.
One day, a pure soul fell down the hole in MT. Ebott. They spent their time down there bringing hope and kindness to all monsters alike, refusing to do no more than spare and befriend every soul. Their determination made it possible for the barrier to be broke and the monsters to live above with the humans. This determined soul lived the rest of their life as the ambassador for the monsters.
70 years later, when the ambassador passed, a group of humans known as the AMS created another war. The monsters - staying true to their feelings of their ambassador and stricken with grief by their death - refused to fight. They became once again banished to the underground - the barrier sealed with an evil, dark magic spell that made it impassable. Here they stayed, undisturbed of human contact, for the rest of eternity.
Until 120 years later, two very different souls found themselves falling through the opening of MT. Ebott.
It is here that our story begins...
