Before anything else, if you encounter the Rilakkuma cover book, then that means you're one of the first few readers of this book! That's really great to hear and all. Hope you like what I came up with this book! P.S. I might finish this book in 10 chapters only. But I'm sure it's all worth the wait.

Everything was perfect.

And if case you haven't noticed the tense of the verb I used a while back, it's in past tense. Was.

White filled the whole place. White cloths to cover the chairs, white tablecloths, white decorations hanging on the tree, white dresses that were worn by the servants. White everything.

As the clock striked 12 midnight, I soon smelled the most enticing scent I have ever encountered. Candies and strawberries.

But, much to my dismay, it wasn't my girfriend that was right beside me in this instance. I have made up my mind that I wouldn't let anyone make me change my decision. Not even the hottest chick in the world couldn't.

And boy, I was so right. My worthless mate proved me right of not doubting my girlfriend as the future Luna of the pack.

The owner of the scent went onstage, making the whole crowd of my 18th birthday party murmur endlessly, only to face the omega of my pack, the disgusting, useless Julie. She was wearing a simple, white dress.

"Clayton, you're my mate".

Her words made the crowd go wilder in what they heard. I can feel all eyes on me. I knew this was coming as soon as I found out that it wasn't Kathryn, my girlfriend, was the one destined for me.

"What are you talking about? Kathryn, here, is my mate. Are you delusional?", I said, adding my voice with wicked laughter.

Fuck you, Clayton. She's our mate.

Well, well, well. Guess who showed up, if it wasnt my very useful wolf, Bryce. Y'know you should be on my side. But since you're ruining my show, better block you out first and watch what happens to little nuisances like her.

Before he even growled or threaten at me, I formed a wall between the two of us. This
should keep him from distracting me.

"What? No! If she's really your mate, then why won't you mark her as yours right now?", she said. I gaped at her words.

"I can't. I promised that I will make her marking very special. Oh, and don't worry, I'll make sure you'll get the very front seat of the whole show", I said as a comeback.

Surprisingly, she made contact with my face by landing her palm at my cheek with gentleness, as if caressing a fragile piece of antique.
