Chapter 40

It's been four day's and i finally get to leave the hospital I'm so sick of their food. I was making Matthew sneak me food in even though Dr. Chopplin didn't mind he said not to let another doctor see.

I was putting my shoes on when Matthew came in with a car seat. Taylor walked in behind him and shut the door. "Have you already checked out?" Matthew asks i yawn and nod.

I pick Landon up and hand him to Taylor. "Will you buckle him in so i can finish getting my things?" i ask he nods and walks over to Matthew buckling him in. Nakisha and Jack walk in and i smile.

"Nakisha what time is it?" i ask grabbing the diper bag. "Its almost noon why?"

"Because we have to get to Matthew's parents house." i said a little tired because i was woken up three Times last night while Matthew slept because we took turns for the past three nights getting up with him.

"Oh yeah i forgot about that it's for the baby shower right?" i nod and i go to pick up Landon but he's heavy. "I got it babygirl" Matthew says taking the car seat from me.

"You cleaned up your dirty mess right?" Dr. Chopplin asks handing me a clipboard. "No i made sure to keep his dirty dipers on the floor so you can clean them up." i signed my name.

"If you did I'm just gonna have to fined Matthew for it." he said Matthew stopped in his steps and looked at us. "You can't do that it was her mistake" he said putting Landon up on the counter. "I can because for one your her husband and for two that's your son as well" he laughed.

"Fair enough Lilly take you're son back" he said sliding the car seat over to me. "You laid down just as much as i did." i smiled.

"Both of you crack heads get out of my hospital" he laughed. "Gladly" i said before hugging him and following Matthew, Taylor and Jack outside. Nakisha walked next to me.

"So you happy now that you have a baby" she said elbowing my arm lightly. "Kinda" i said.

"Kinda what're you mean kinda?" she asked stopping and making me stop as well. "Well Matthew says that work is tiring and stressful so i kinda gotta figure out how to do this on my own while he's at work, I'm pretty much gonna be like a single mother he's not gonna be around that much" i said.

"Y'all just gonna stand there or walk?" Matthew chuckles.

"Just a minute" Nakisha hollered back. "Lilly you don't have to do it on your own i can come over and hangout with you until Jack gets home" she suggested. "Thank you, he said he wanted to do this together but I don't want him to have more stress." i said slowly walking to the car.

"Did he help here at the hospital?"

"Yeah he mostly had him" i said. Matthew was buckling Landon in. "Who knows he could be a daddy's boy" she smiled.

"I'll see you at Matthew's parents house" i said i hugged her and got into the car. Matthew got in and looked at me worriedly.

"You okay?" he asks i nod and smile. He backs out and starts to head to his mom and dads house. On the way there i was laying my head against the window when Landon started crying.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and crawled over the front seat. I felt Matthews hand collide with my butt and i smacked his hand when i sat down.

"That hurt you know" i said he smirked back at me. I couldn't take Landon out while he was driving so i made him a bottle until we got there.

He pulled in and parked in the drive way. He got out as did i and grabbed his car seat. I walked in and everyone started to walk up to us to see Landon.
