I spent the day waiting at the sea
The night has come
The seagulls patter and flee
Out to the beckoning waves
To an unknown kingdom
Hidden in navy blue caves
The lighthouse spilling rays
Onto the icy ocean sprays
Foaming and sloshing
As you come closer and closer
I can hear the rushing
The flushing
And gushing
The waters responding
To your commands
The waters churning to your
Heartless demands
Like some melodic being
You call my name
A faint song
A blurry flame
The moon hides you
As you form from the mist
The ocean crying
The stars kissed
A ghostly ponder
From the mind along with
Clueless wonder
I find myself staring out at sea
Beaming
Gleaming
As you reach for me
A glance of chance
Tingling
Mingling
With my awaiting fingertips
Your frozen presence
Trembling my frosty lips
Nothing can save me now
Your heavenly face appears
In the blink of an eye
I vanish
Taken by the sea
Gifted by your wicked grace
I am finally free
