¨I'll take this one!¨ I said as I handed the job paper to the white haired mage, Mirajane.

She looked over the paper, then gasped.

¨Are you sure you'd like to take on such such a dangerous mission?¨

¨Yeah, I need to take on more difficult tasks, anyways. Also it pays 500,000 jewel, so I can give Lucy some of the money to help out with her rent.¨

She smiled at me, and giggled. ¨That's quite kind of you, {Y/N}. Well I wish you the best of luck! Come back safe!¨

¨I will!¨ I called, waving to her as I left through the doors, on my way back to my apartment to pack for my journey. The job I picked was to kill some troublesome shifters in a forest near a small village. I was a shifter myself, I could also use requip magic, because Erza had mentored me for a while on how to use it. In return, I had showed her how to shapeshift into a few different animals. Shifter magic was similar to take - over magic, like Lissana, Mirajane, and Elfman had, but with shifter magic the owner could turn into a full fledged being and not just have a few parts of that animal or creature.

Anyways, I arrived at my apartment in a short period of time, perks of living close to the guild. My apartment was right next to Lucy's, so we hung out and chatted a lot. My rent only costed 50,000 jewel a month, so it was pretty easy to pay and I still had money left over. As I packed the necessities for my job, I heard a knock on the door. I walked over and opened it, only to see Lucy, Levy, Juvia, Erza, Mirajane, Lissana, and Wendy.

"Hello guys!" I greeted them, happy to see my friends. "So what's up?"

"We just came by to see if you wanted to chat and such, we thought you might need some company." Erza explained, smiling.

"Oh sure! I'd love to chat with you all." I let the girls in and got some refreshments for my friends.

We all chatted for a while, talking about things such as our crushes, secrets, and hobbies.

"So who's your crush, {Y/N}?" Levy asked.

"Well.....I really like Gray." I said in a small voice, slightly embarrassed and blushing.

'Awwwwh' the girls sighed, well most of them at least. Juvia just glared daggers at me, and I quickly looked away, not wanting to make eye contact with her anymore. I knew that Juvia was obsessed with Gray, and whoever liked him too was her so called "Love Rival....."
I shivered. I didn't want to seem like an enemy or rival towards her just because I liked the same guy she did.
