You walk into the new house that you bought with a feeling of triumph. You have finally moved out, and are now able to call your wn shots. At the age of twenty one that is good.

You drop your bags and walk farther in. You go up the stairs to find your room. At the end of the hall you notice a small door, about the size of a seven year old child. Ever so carefully you open the door...

There, all alone in the middle of the room was a small wooden box. You try, without much success, to open it. You are unable to break the lock holding it's bottom and top together.

I will go to the locksmith in town tomorrow, to see what can be done. You think to yourself, before walking into  your bedroom and laying down on your bed, soon to encounter something very odd indeed...

.....

You wake up, get dressed, get a cofee and run out the door, not forgetting to grab the box. You walk up to your car, put the box in the back seat and climb into the drivers seat.

You have arrived at the local locksmith. You grab the box and walk into the shop. You tell the locksmith of your situation. He agrees to help you open this strange box.

After very little effort on the locksmiths part, the box was open. There is an odd expression plastered on the locksmiths face. You peer into the box, your expression now matching his.

.....

In the box lies a doll. A doll with one lazy eye. It's hair and eye colour mimic yours perfectly. You leave the doll in the box, put the lid on and return home.

.....

You tuck yourself in, turn your bedside lamp off and rest for the night.

You wake up at three in the morning for no particular reason, you turn over to your side. You are greeted by the beady eyes of the doll staring back at you.

You realize this is impossible. Before you went to bed you locked the box and put it back in the room at the end of the hall.

You shake it off, put the doll back in it's box and return to your bed.

.....

The next morning you wake up and go downstairs to get a coffee. You make a yourself a cup and sit down at the table.

As you look up from your cup you notice the doll resting on the table in front of you. This is very odd indeed.

Even so, you have things that need to be done in town. You grab the doll, put it back in it's box and put it back in the room at the end of the hall.

.....

You arrive home with the groceries you bought in town and put them away. When you turn around, you notice the doll lying on the counter.

You have finally had enough of this doll and it's games. You lock the doll in it's box, throw it into your fireplace and light it on fire.

You begin to feel more and more hot. Then you notice the flames at your windows. You run to the door and try to open it, but it will not open. Almost as if you're locked in a box.
