(Ryland's POV)
It was 7:35 and the party had started. The garden was filled with people. Fairy lights were hung across the thin brown wooden fences across the garden so they were hanging above our heads. There were food and drink tables set out on one side of the garden with a music table on the other side where the hired DJ was. Mom had hired him for tonight so that I could have fun. I was sat on the garden seats at the back of the garden with my brothers, Ellington and Brandon when I looked up and saw the girls all walk outside. I only focused on one though. Savannah.
Ryland- Woah!
Rocky- I know look at Alexa
Ryland- What about Savannah?
Rocky- Eh, I guess she's ok
Ryland- Ok? How can you say that?
Rocky- Sorry?
I shook my head at him and continued to look at her. She looked gorgeous. He hair was flowing and curled down on one side with sparkles sprayed into her hair. The work of Rydel. I smiled. She had the biggest smile on her face as she got herself a drink with Rydel and Lori. The rest of the girls came over and I stood up to walk over to Savannah. I had to do it now. Why waste anymore time? Once I reached the table I guess Rydel saw me and got the hint that I wanted to be alone with Savannah because she left as soon as I got there.
Sav- Bye
Rydel- Bye
Then she left. We were alone at the table and she stood silently staring at her red cup. I watched her for a few seconds before snapping back to reality.
Sav- Hey
Ryland- Hey
Sav- Rydel told me why you acted the way you did after yesterday
I slowly nodded my head not knowing what to say. I was so mad at Rydel now. She shouldn't of gotten involved.
Sav- Why didn't you just tell me that you had feelings for me?
Ryland- I was..
Sav- Scared?
Ryland- Yeah, I guess Rydel told you everything then huh?
She just nods.
Ryland- So she mentioned the part where I was going to ask you out then?
Sav- No she never said anything about you asking me out
Ryland- What?!
My face turned from calm to panic. Then Savannah started laughing. I looked at her confused.
Ryland- Ok what am I missing here?
Sav- I'm joking, of course she told me it's Rydel she tells me everything
Ryland- Oh well that was mean..and really? She tells you everything?
Sav- Yep! She even told me how you believe in Ghosts
Ryland- What?! I don't believe in Ghosts
Sav- I know you don't I made it up
I gasped at her in shock and then we started laughing. Her laugh was so cute. I smiled at her.
Ryland- You really need to stop doing that?
Sav- Doing what?
Ryland- Oh don't start acting all innocent on me now
Sav- I'm just kidding
We started laughing again. Then I remembered what I came over to do.
Ryland- Listen Sav, I was wondering you would like to..
Mom- ALRIGHT LISTEN UP! THERE'S A STORM ON THE WAY SO THE PARTY IS GOING TO HAVE TO BE CUT SHORT IM SORRY!
Sav- I guess I am going home then
Ryland- Yeah I guess
She walked away inside with everyone else who were grabbing their things and leaving before the storm gets worse because it had started to rain even though it was the start of summer in LA. I sighed and then came up with an idea of how I could still get her to go out with me or at least get close to her. I ran over to Rydel who was talking to Mom.
Ryland- Rydel, I need your help!
Rydel- What with?
Ryland- I need you to ask the girls to stay over for a sleepover or something so that I can ask Savannah out
Rydel- Ok, I will
Ryland- Thanks
Mom- Alright lets get inside its only going to get worse out here
So we turned and went inside where there was just: Me, My brothers, The girls, Mom, Dad, Brandon, Ellington and Lori left. All of our cousins and everyone had gone home. I looked at Rydel.
Rydel- Listen girls, I was thinking about having a sleepover if you want to stay over tonight
Court- I'm ok with that
Lori- Me too especially since I live far away
Vanni- Sure
Alexa- Why not? I love having sleepovers
Everyone looked at Savannah and she glanced at me. I smiled and she smiled back.
Rydel- So what do you say Sav? You in?
Sav- Yeah sure I'm in
Rydel- Great lets go and set everything up upstairs
Then they followed Rydel who ran upstairs. Mom and Dad left to the kitchen I think and it was just us boys left.
Riker- Well since the girls are staying, why don't you two stay?
He says while looking at Ellington and Brandon. They looked at each other and nodded in agreement almost like they read each other's minds. Then they looked back at Riker.
Both- Sure
Ross- Alright well now that's decided..
Rocky- What's going on with you and Savannah?
Ross- Yeah!
They all turned to look at me waiting for an answer. All that came to my head was: Deny It.
Ryland- What do you mean? There's nothing going on between me and Savannah
Brandon- Oh please do you think we don't know about how you kissed my sister?
Ryland- How did you know about that? Only Rydel and Mom was there..never mind, Rydel told you didn't she?
All- Yep!
I sighed. There was no point in denying it because there clearly knew and were going to ask me every single question possible until they get the answer that they want.
Ryland- Alright fine yeah I admit it, I kissed Savannah
Ell- Wait, So are you two like together now or what?
Ryland- Honestly I don't know what we are because we were talking about it before the storm and I was about to ask her out but I didn't get the chance to
Brandon- Do it now
Ryland- What?
Brandon- Well the way I see it is that it's a stormy night, the house is dark but still lit up with candles and fairy lights..(dad did it before) and it could not get anymore romantic
Riker- He's right, all you have to is get her alone somehow and ask her out
Ryland- And how do I get her alone?
Riker- That's up to you now, we gave you a plan on what to do so now all you have to do is to put that plan in action
I breathed out. How the heck was I going to get her alone and ask her out? Then an idea came....
