Some trips are special!

So it was just a normal day...... NOT!!!! This is not going to be just one of those stories!!!! So I've never really written anything before but I'm goings try and just see where I turn up in life! Tell me what you think! :)

So it really was just an ordinary day, I, Dawn, was at her best friends house, Violet. Violet and I had a very... You could say special relationship I mean god we were always fighting and arguing everyone was always like oh my god how are you guys even friends. But you know every blonde needs a brunette and every brunette needs a blonde.

So I was sitting in Violets room like I usually am, we were always together..... It's very rare for us not to be hanging out. But I was looking in the mirror and I thought wow I look really dull compared to Violet. Her hair that was such a dark brown it was almost black with her pale skin that made her dark hair stand out drastically. And her eyes I was so jealous the way that they could be a dark blue like the ocean at times and then as light as the sky on a cloudless day.

Then there's me my flat looking dirty blonde hair with my eyes green like a cats. I mean yeah I know that when people go oh gosh Dawn, you are gorgeous, I go yep I know but that just makes me, we'll you know, me. That doesn't change what I feel in the inside though. I really don't understand one thing, she is way prettier than me but I still get the guys I know that might sound selfish but I do! (Which will be explained a bit later)

I woke from my trance like state and I realized that Violet was kinda gone from the room I have no clue where she went. I was in the middle I deciding whether or not to go try and find her or if I should just sit and chill..... When all of a sudden my iPhone rings. I think 'Yes' now I don't have to get up!! I look at the screen and its my mom. I sigh and answer, just as Violet walks I the room.

( D= Dawn, M= Mom)

D- "Hello?"

M- "Hey, whatcha doin,"

D- "Nothing I kind of just woke up,"

M- "Oh really that's great, ill come and get you now!"

D- "Mom!!!! Why are you coming to get my now I woke up like 10 min ago!!!!!!!??????"

M- "Come on Dawn you have got to start paying more attention! I told you we were going camping on Friday! Guess what? It's Friday!"

My mom says with a really big attitude! I'm like pissed now. She thinks she can call me and freak out on me! WOW!!!

D- "Whatever, mom!"

Conversation over

Violet looked at me and could just tell I was annoyed so she didn't say anything, I started to get my stuff together which took about 2 min.....

( V= Violet. D= Dawn)which you should get by now..!!)

V- "So what's up, you leaving?"

D- "Yeah I have to go camping, remember its that stupid trip I have to go on without my bestie!!!!!???"

V- "Oh yeah.... Awwww I don't want you to leave meeeeeee!!!!!!"

D- "hahaha!!! Yeah okkkkk ill text you Vi!!

Conversation over

I walk downstairs and open violets front door to her house I sit looking out the screen door for literally 30 seconds, then my mom just appears! Gosh!!! "Bye, Vi" I yell up to Violets room. "Bye" She tells back. I walk out of her house and into my moms car.
