*TIMESKIP TO AGE ONE*
WHAAA!!! WHAAAAAA!!!! Asa started crying again for the fifth time that night. Jerry, her father, rushed into her room. "Hey hey hey... Asa." He calmly walked over to her and picked her up. "It's alright... daddy's here... shh... it's okay..." Pretty soon, the little shild fell right asleep. Jerry sighed out of relief and placed her right back in her crib. "Good night Asa..."
Jerry left the room and left the door craked open. He tiredly walked back to his room and fell asleep. As soon as he was asleep, Grey came out and watched the little child sleep. "You're quite the handfull aren't you..." He quietly chuckled to himself. "But you're going to make a beautiful girl someday."

"DADDY DADDY!! LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!!" Asa yelled as she ran up to her father holding an old photo album.
"What is it baby girl? What do ya got there?" She smiled brightly and flipped to a picture of her mother and father pregnant with little Asa. "Asa.. where did you find this?"
"Uncle Grey gave it to me... he said that it would help me not forget mama... daddy... where is mama?" Jerry was both shocked and angry. Grey knew that he didn't want to talk about Beth until she was older. "Daddy... are you okay? You're crying?"
Jerry hadn't realized it yet, but his daughter was right. He was crying. He smiled and wiped his tears away. "I'm fine... and mommy.. she's not here right now, but... trust me... she loves you a whole bunch" Asa giggled.
"Even more than you daddy?" Jerry laughed and nodded.
"Yes. Even more than I do." Asa gasped and counted her fingers.
"That's like.... A whole bunch more!!"The both of them laughed as Grey watched them smiling.
"What'd I tell ya Mr. Michaels..." Grey told himself.

"C'mon Dad!!! It's no fair that all my friends get phones when they're ten and I don't get one till I'm sixteen!!!" Asa begged her dad. "Please Dad!! I legally a teenager which means that I'm a young adult."
"Asa please not right now... I'm to busy to fight about this. Besides you only have three more years till you get one." Jerry explained to her as he went back to work.
"But Dad!!!" Asa pleaded him. "What happens if I get lost in the woods, or if I'm kidnapped, or... or... what if I got hit by a falling satellite!!" Jerry sighed and looked up at his daughter.
"Asa... you hardly go outside, and you're always with your friends so there's no way you could get kidnapped, and a satellite? There are none circling directly above our town."He explained to her. "Now please get ready for bed... I have work to do"
Asa threw her arms up. "Of course! All you ever do is work! You never have time for me! It's just always work work work! I bet that if mom was alive she wouldn't hesitate to notice me!" Asa stormed off to her room and slammed her door. "Stupid old man... He never cared about me...."
"Well look at you. Never thought you'd become a rebel." Grey said from above her. "You should really apologize."
"Shut it Grey..."Asa snapped at him. "Why are you here anyways...? Not like I asked for your opinion anyways." Grey rolled his eyes and sat in front of her on her bed.
"Asa... just knock it off okay. Your dad does love you, and he wants to protect you." Grey tried to tell her calmly.
"From what? What exactly is it that I need to be protected from. I already found out a long time ago that you're not human, so what exactly do I need to be protected from? Huh Grey" Asa questioned him. Grey shook his head.
"I'm sorry Asa... I can't tell you that..." Asa threw her arms up again.
"Of course! What is it with you men!!" She threw a pillow at him and he disappeared. "Stupid men..."
