(Savannah's POV)
We were all sat in Rydel's bedroom in a circle on the floor in the middle of the room when I saw a piece of paper slide under the door.
Sav- Hey, what is that?
Rydel- What?
I pointed at the paper and they all looked over at it. Rydel stood up and she walked over to the door to pick it up. She read it out loud.
Rydel- It says, "Savannah, meet me outside in the front garden in 5 minutes- Ryland"
She stopped reading and looked at me and so did the other girls.
Court- Oh my god!
Vanni- I know! I wonder what he wants you to meet him for
Sav- I don't know
Lori- Well is there anything that he might of said or done that gives you an idea?
Sav- I mean before the storm when we were outside he mentioned something about asking me out but he never really got the chance to so I just ignored it
The girls all looked at each other and smiled before looking back at me. Then Rydel came and kneeled down on the floor next to me.
Rydel- Oh my god! He's going to ask you out!
Sav- How do you know that?
Rydel- Sav, I've lived with him for 18 years, I think I know him pretty well by now
Alexa- So are you going to go or what?
Sav- I don't know, should I? I mean Rydel you said yourself it could ruin our friendship
Rydel- And I was wrong! Just go please for me..
Sav- Alright fine I'll go but it better be good it'll be freezing out there now
I stood up and looked down at my small white pyjama shorts and my white pyjama top. (Think of Bella in Twilight). Then Rydel came running back into the bedroom from the built in closet she had just gone to. She handed me a grey jumper that said LA Baby on it in purple lettering.
Rydel- Wear that, it should keep you warm enough
Sav- Thanks
Rydel- Your welcome now go!
I smiled and then walked out of the bedroom and down the stairs. I opened the front door to see it pouring down and Ryland sat on the top step of the porch with a guitar resting on his lap. He was still dry because the roof of the porch covered him. I shut the door and he turned to look at me.
Ryland- Hey
Sav- Hey
I walked over and sat next to him on the step. It was silent until I spoke.
Sav- So why did you want me to meet you?
Ryland- I want to sing a song to you that kinda expresses how I feel right now and will tell you somehing that is hard for me to come right and say
Sav- Ok
He lifted up the guitar that I could tell he took from the basement where they rehearse because there was a big pink R5 sticker on it. I smiled as he started to play: Little Things by One Direction. It was my favourite song and the fact that he was singing it to me was even better. It was silent and the only sound was him singing and the guitar. He didn't look down once during the song. He looked into my eyes the entire time and I did the same.

As he finished, I wiped my eyes.
(Ryland's POV)
I strummed the last chord and sang the last word. I watched as she lifted her hand up and wiped her face from tears.
Ryland- Your crying! Are you ok?!
Sav- Am I ok? Ryland, that was the most amazing thing that anyone has ever done for me! These are happy tears
I smiled after hearing her say that.
Ryland- So you liked then?
Sav- I loved it!
Ryland- Well then in that case, I only have one thing left to do
Sav- What?
Ryland- Savannah Hudson, will you be my girlfriend?
Then I stood up and got down on one knee. I brought out a small black box. I opened it to reveal a silver infinity/promise ring that said: R+S=F <3 on it. She gasped and smiled.
Sav- Oh my god! It's beautiful
Ryland- So?
Sav- Yes! Yes! Of course I'll be your girlfriend!
I smiled and slipped the ring onto her hand then I heard cheering. We looked at each other confused and we both looked at the window that looks into Dad's office to see everyone stood there watching and cheering. She turned back to me as we laughed.
Sav- Come here
I leant on both knees on the step and moved forward towards her. She placed her hands on the sides of my face and our lips touched. After a few seconds, we let go and I smiled widely. Then I moved my face close to hers so that our noses were touching and whispered:
"Your mine now princess"...
