"A blizzard warning has been issued for the whole Northern Colorado area this evening, Everyone is advised to stay inside until further notice. This is Rebecca Taylor signing off." I hear through the static of my portable radio.
"Jesus Christ." I groan as I trudge through the already deep snow, continuing up my hiking trail.
"I've been hiking for over an hour and NOW they decide to issue the blizzard warning. That's fucking stupid. I can't believe this." I continue to grumble to myself .
"Okay I sound crazy talking to myself but that's okay! Maybe I'm going crazy.. No I have to focus. First I have to find somewhere to stay during the blizzard. And where am I going to go? In a cave?" I roll my eyes at my stupidity but continue walking. The snow starts coming down faster making it even harder to see, The only thing I can see now is well nothing because it's snowing so much.
"Great can't see anything, barely feel my hands. I'm going to die. What a great way to go, freezing to death. Unbelievable."
Before I know it the snow has let up a bit so I can see where I'm going but just my luck I've gone off my trail so now I'm lost. woohoo! Go me! I start to look around for any clue as to how to get back to my trail but my tracks are gone thanks to the snow. Awesome. So I guess I'lll keep going forward.
After walking for another twenty minutes I see something glowing up ahead."Alright that's either a forest fire or a house. God I hope it's a house." I start trying to move faster but walking for over three hours straight has taken its toll on me, my muscles start burning until finally I collapse a couple yards from the huge cottage. I try to fight it but the darkness consumes me.
