My head throbbed from the night before and my clothes smelt faintly of smoke and alcohol. I rolled over to my phone to see if anybody had messaged me. I had a message from my boss saying I have to fly to London in a few days. I sit up and see that my cat is still asleep on the floor next to my bed. He is so cute when he sleeps. My bed had finally accepted me into its warmth but I know I have to get up and go to work. I managed to shuffle over to the closet and picked out a simple outfit. I adjusted my white tee in the mirror and threw on my jacket. I heard a faint meow behind me and then soft paws on my feet, I looked down and saw my cat. "Not now Ralph I am
almost late to work". I rushed in the kitchen grabbed my bad and a banana and rushed out the door.
