"Come on!" I yelled at my teammates, "You need to look up when dribbling the ball."
All the girls nodded and continued to breath hard. Sweat dripped from their foreheads. I picked up the ball and went to go put it in my duffel bag. "You all should get washed up and get some rest. We have a game tomorrow." I suggested before slinging my bag over my shoulder and making my way over to the girls' locker room.
Before I exited the gym, I heard some girls whispering. "Why is she the captain? She's nothing but a freak." I turned around and my eyes met with icy blue eyes. I internally cursed as I saw the devil's girlfriend standing at the entrance of the gym.
She had her aqua volleyball uniform on and her bleached blond hair tied up in a tight, high pony tail. Her lips were pursed as her eyes focused in on me. I rolled my eyes and turned back around. I ignored their annoying giggling as I went into the girls' locker room.
I didn't even bother taking a shower because I just wanted to get out of this hellhole. I threw on my Imagine Dragons tee, leggings, and my black converse. I stuffed my basketball uniform and shoes in my duffel bag. I took off my blue sports glasses and slipped on my usual thick-rimmed nerd glasses.
Once I was done, I exited the locker room and made my way to the front of the school where my car was. I walked down the deserted hallway, humming the song Emperor's New Clothes, when I felt like someone's presence behind me.
And sure enough, before I could even blink, someone yanked on my backpack, causing me to fall backwards. I landed on my butt. Hard
I winced. Ouch, that's going to hurt later.
"What the hell?" I shrieked angrily.
I heard laughter along with a deep voice that sent chills up my spine. "Need a hand?"
My anger began to boil as I realized who it was. I looked up to see devil himself with a scowl on my face. He was staring down at me with his signature smirk worn on his lips. His hand was sticking out right in front of my face.
I stared at him in disgust. Every other girl would stare at his face for hours. They would oogle over his good looks and charm. But I, on the other hand, am not like those girls. He just makes me cringe every time I see him. His brown hair was pushed to the front because of the black beanie on his head. He wore a black leather jacket with black jeans.
I angrily slapped his hand away. "Get those nasty sausages away from me. Who knows where those have been." I remarked.
I pushed myself off of the floor and picked up my things. I shot him and his friends a glare before I started walking away. But before I could go anywhere, he grabbed my wrist and pushed my into the lockers.
More anger surged through my body. Why must he be an idiot? We go through this every single day! He never leaves me alone!
You are probably wondering who he is. Well, he's Zeke Anderson. Seaside High's stereotypical badboy. He's also an imbecile, idiot, asshole, incompetent fool, my list could go on. I also don't get how almost every single girl here at this messed up school practically falls for him right when he walks into the room. All I see is an arrogant asshole.
But the one thing everyone knows, is that Zeke and I aren't very fawned of each other. We're constantly fighting and bickering. We've been enemies ever since we were in third grade because I beat him in dodgeball when we were the team captains. It was pretty funny actually. Both him and I were the only ones left and I chucked the ball and it hit him right in the manhood.
