It was a cool breezy Sunday morning when I woke up. When I looked over at my alarm clock it read 7:50.
"Shit," I said as I frantically got out of bed.
It was my first day at a new school and I couldn't be late. Especially since I'm starting grade 11; my last year of high school.
I've changed schools 4 times in my whole life. Mainly because my parents are divorced. If my mom or dad wanted to move somewhere new, I was obliged to follow. I absolutely hated it.
Before my parents got divorced, I would always be in the middle of their fights. They would usually blame their problems on me and it would always make me cry at night. I felt like I had parents that didn't care about me. I guess that's where my anxiety started.
At least I know how to play guitar. I would always love to strum it and sing songs. It was an outlet from my problems.

I got to school 30 minutes late. That's actually not that bad considering I woke up 10 minutes before school started. I headed straight for the main office to get my schedule.
Period 1 - Math
Period 2 - English
Period 3 - Science
Period 4 - Physics
Lunch
Period 5 - Music
Period 6 - Gym
Period 7 - History
I hate having math first but I guess I'll have to deal with it.
My math teacher didn't actually mind that I was late. He told me to sit down and not to worry about it.
There were a lot of students in my class. I looked around and saw a girl with gorgeous black hair and bright blue eyes. I wonder what her name was. Maybe I could become friends with her.
"Jessica Aprils, can you answer question 7?" said my teacher.
I guess that's the girl's name, Jessica Aprils.
"I don't know," said Jessica, "how about you ask someone else?"
Maybe she isn't nice after all.
Eventually, the bell rang and I left class as fast as I could because I could see Jessica's eyes staring at me.
