It's been a few years, I've lost all contact with Jack and Alex. I miss them, and Jack especially, I don't think I've ever loved someone so much, and then I met him. Hes probably forgotten about me, I expected it.
Ashley and Kate are 10, Nixons 14. Elenor left them with me once she figured I could take care of them. She ran off with her husband.
Tommy's been going to college, he's got to finish soon. He finally onfessed that he was gay, Itold him that I knew, and I didn't mind.
Ash came barging through my door. Her earbuds in, face full of excitment. Her eyes were bright. "I found Jack and Alex!"
~JackPOV~
It really bugs me, how I'm living my dream, but I have no clue where Drew is. I look out in the crowd, hoping to see her, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Shes someone I'll never forget, but I wonder if shes forgotten me.
We were on the bus, this was pretty much it, a few more shows and we would be back in LA. I was exhuasted from all the touring, I mean it's great to meet fans, and I love playing shows, but I get a little home sick, and being on a bus all the time isnt exactly fun.

She unplugged her headphones and played the song. I didn't believe it. I just stared at the ipod in her hands.
"How can you be sure its actually them." I said, my voice full of doubt.
She smiled. "I knew you would ask." she said. She got on YouTube and pulled up an interveiw. Holy shit, it was them, they looked so much older, but acted the same. Those perverts. I stopped the video and handed her back her ipod. She smiled sadly.
"Thats great, I'm happy for them." I said, trying to leave the sadness out of my voice.
"Well." Ash said impatiently. "What are you waiting for? Concert tickets, for LA, ASAP." she said, snapping her fingers and looking excited.
"I'm sorry, but whats the point of it. He's not going to remeber who I am, and it's not like we will be a couple again, everythings over. We live two completly diffrent lives now." I said.
She looked upset. "So thats it." she said, anger in her voice. "You're just going to give up! You're the one telling me to go after my dreams, to surround myself with people I love and who make me happy, but that's it for you, you aren't even going to try!"
"Ash, its not the same-" I tried to calm her down.
"But it is! It is the same thing, he made you happy, and me and Nixon and Kate! Another person disappearing from my life, and you're going to let it happen." she said, running out of the room.
I can't just show up and be like, 'oh hey, its been four years do you remeber me' it's not the best plan. But she is right, not only did her mother leave her, but I went seprate ways from Jack. She had gotten very close to him, it was almost like he was a big brother to her, and I know she's hurting.
But things can't just be magically fixed. I'm not going to have my heart ripped out anymore.

"Jack! Holy shit!" Alex yelled, not only waking me up, but scaring me shitless.
"What the fuck bro." I said, sitting up.
He took a deep breath and handded me his phone. My eyes widened. But my mind filled with doubt and sadness.
"Do you even know what this means?" Alex asked. He was overjoyed.
I shook my head. "Was it necisarry to scare the shit out of me?" I asked.
He gave me a face, it was like dissapointment and 'you dumbass'.
"Dude shes gone, there is no more between us." I said.
Alex sighed. "You are such a buzzkill." he said. "Just be happy, okay man, its been years and itll be good for you," he said.
I rolled over, "Whatever man, I'm going back to bed." I said.
It's not like I can just visit her and her still love me, we were kids. She probably has a new boyfriend, a whole new life by now. Alex doesn't understand this, I know he misses her too, but what are the odds of her, Alex and me going back to best friends. Slim.
