It's midnight when I find her, curled up in the corner of my fenced in back yard soaked in blood. Two deep holes in her neck produce the red liquid. "Oh my god Aki, please wake up" I whisper, grasping her shoulders. She groans. "Utah, I f-feel sick..." She stutters. I pick her up carefully, she wraps herself around me. I carry her into the house and lay her down on the couch. I rush to the bathroom and turn on the water, then get out her favorite towel and pajamas. I test the water, perfect. I undress her, blushing furiously. Ugh no! Focus, she is hurting. I carry Aki and place her in the tub of warm water.
After I wash her back and hair, while she washes everything else. I help her out and she wraps the towel around herself. "Thank you Utah." She says. I don't know how to reply, so I kiss her cheek. She smiles and puts on her pajamas. We lay down in bed and she falls asleep fast. I can't sleep though, all I can think about are those holes in her neck.
