"Hey!" He yelled across campus. She was startled by the sudden noise, but she smiled and hugged him. He noticed that she didn't hug him with all her strength. He didn't mention it to her though. She was different today and he noticed that. She was empty. Nothing could fill her back up. He worried about her. He should have told her that she wasn't "Fine". That she wasn't "Ok". He wanted to, on multiple accounts. He never had the courage.
He should have at least told her that he cared, because now she's too far gone..
