I ran back to the house and got under the covers, back on the couch. I couldn't believe what I just saw. I could only think about what those guys were saying. Is it James who killed those people? Is he the werewolf? Did he kill all of those people? I was choking myself with these thoughts.

I know now that I definitely can't sleep. I curled myself into a ball and hid myself under the big blanket they gave me. Should I leave in the morning? Am I even safe here?

I woke up before James and his mother had gotten up. I remember the place were James' mother kept emergency money. Is this an emergency? Yes it definitely was. I grabbed the money along with my bag of clothes and I left.

The sun was just rising. I was going to go to the nearest bus stop and book the first ticket out of here. I didn't eat anything since I was rushing myself. I decided to go to get a coffee and maybe a bagel or something at the one coffee shop next to the motel.

When I was going past the motel, I almost got hit by a rushing car pulling out of the motels parking lot. It was the Impala. But this time there was only one person driving. It was Reeves.
He got out and went right to the front of his car and said,
"Baby are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine you just scared me." I replied.

"Oh I was talking to my car. Are you okay too?" Reeves said to me with awkwardness in his voice.

"Maybe you should watch out next time." He added.

Now I felt insulted. I looked at him and said,
"Well you were driving. Watch out for your surroundings. It's not my fault. I have shit going on right now. And I definitely don't need this right now."

I heard someone running up to us. They started to yell to us too.
"Dean! What happened?" He said, coming to where we stood.

"Nothing, just an accident. No harm done here, Sammy," Dean replied.

"I wouldn't really say that. He almost hit me." I said to Sam.

"I said I was sorry." Dean said to me.

"Yeah, you did, but to your car first." I said to him with a snarky tone.

"Okay...well as long as you're fine. I'm Sam and, well, you already met Dean. We were just heading out to go get some coffee. Would you like to join? I mean it's a more sincere way of saying sorry." Sam said to me with a grin on his face.

Dean looked at him with a 'what the hell are you doing' face.

"Yeah... I was just in my way there actually." I said to Sam hesitantly.

We all got into the Impala and proceeded to the coffee shop. We walked in and I went to the booth next to the window with Dean. We sat across from each other. There was only one thing, dead silence.

Sam returned with three coffees, and sat next to me. Two black and one black but with sugar. I got the one with the sugar. We were all just sitting there. Nothing. Just nothing.

"So, Raven was it?" Sam said, breaking the tension.

"Yeah. Winters and Reeves was it?" I said with a smile.

He laughed and replied, "Ah yeah...last names."

After a while of me and Sam talking, Dean finally joined in too. As amusing the conversation was, I could only think about what has become of my only friend James.

I wondered if I should bring it up to them. Maybe they can find a cure for him.

"The other day when you two came over, I... uh...well...I overheard what you guys were talking about when you stepped away." I said to them nervously.
