A Beat Away From You

Elocin's POV

I have been in this school for almost 2 months and as planned I'm going with the flow. Today was quite good, before a bad boy type of guy accidentally hit me with a basketball. He didn't even bothered to say sorry. He just look at me; smiling, the whole time. What a total jerk! I heard from a passerby at the hall, that his name was "Edward Valerr". Not interesting at all! He's just the captain of our school basketball team. But I'm not gonna deny his a bit charming.. . Still, his a jerk! Well, I'm not the kind of girl that can fall instantly. Thank god. "Locy! Looccy!" A very familiar voice, its Josh. We've been best friend as long we can remember. I saw him running across the hallway. He's wearing the same old  white basic tee, jeans and sneaks. As he came near me I complained about not to call me "Locy" or else I'll call him Joshie. I giggled for a moment. "Okay so Elocin, i thought you have classes?" He said worried. "Wait, what?  I looked at my phone. I'm already 15 minutes late! As i realized, we run to my class and then there I had a late slip. I was too over thinking about what happen with the basketball thingy. Thanks for nothing! Can this day can be any better? Ugh
