I could feel the other part of her part pounding. I stared in disbelief at the sky. The dragon and Emma were gone.
But, she was still alive.
But, she was in another realm.
Maybe.
Alone.
My ears start to ring, staring at the bright blue sky, so bad I can barely hear Mary Margaret and David talk worriedly to each other.
Emma would be fine though. I knew that. That was a fact. She could take care of her herself. Yet, fear gripped me in its cold grasp and squeezed my insides. If she had fallen from that great height, she would be dead. She had been swallowed by a purplish back dark hole though.
She went through a bloody portal.
I had my share of portals. I remember fighting Emma and Mary Margaret just to go through one to get to Storybrooke. To get my revenge on the crocodile.
Emma had been stubborn and she had her walls up then.
I had liked the challenge, but that's the thing I loved about Emma.
I enjoyed tearing her walls down. I love her personality. I loved everything about her. Her ghost hung heavy in the air. I had to find her. I storm toward the Crocodile's shop. A shop filled with goods. With prizes from his victims. Sick. So bloody sick.
How could Belle ever love him?
Then again how could Emma love me? After all the things I've done. She's even seen me at my worst. She's seen me as the dark one. She's seen me rip out a man's heart and crush it. I had become the most powerful dark one at that moment. She had met the selfish pirate back in my old days. Yet, she had gone down to the underworld to save me.
She loved me.
Why? I would never know.
I slam open the door to see Rumplestiltskin, or Mr. Gold, polishing a vase with ancient runes print across it. The old man looked up innocently and when he saw me his gaze hardened. "Yes?" He says, his voice calm. "I need a portal," I say angrily. "Nice to know," he says. "You bloody owe me, Crocodile. And besides, Belle wouldn't like to know you're the bloody dark one again. It's your bloody choice," I snap. He look looks up at me with a harsh glare. "Portals are a tricky thing, mate," he spits the word mate out as if he was spitting something foul out, "portals can be open with beans, as you know well, by hats, by dragons, and by a wand. He smiles, "so in other words, you might want to go check Regina."
I stare at him long and hard before I start to exit. I pause, "but where would a bloody dragon take her?" I turn back to him and he smiles. "To the Islands of Berk, dearie."

"How do you know we can trust him?"
Regina stares at me pathetically. "I never said I trust him," I shoot back instantly. She bites her lip, "what if this place isn't real?"
I hadn't thought about. My jaw clenches and Henry peeps up. "It's worth. The risk. It's for my mom," Henry says. I nod, relieved that he was taking my side. Regina couldn't say no to that. Regina sighed, defeated after hesitating and took out a long black fairy wand. Mary Margaret looks around uneasily. I think everyone was scared to go into the unknown so soon after coming back from the underworld. I wasn't. I almost felt numb of all emotion but worry. I knew she was okay, that she could take care of herself. I remember the first time she went into an another unknown realm, to Camelot. We found her in a wreck, battling the demons in her head as she held a heart glowing and pounding in her hand. I've heard those voices and I had lost. I had given into the darkness.
But, she was strong. And this time she wasn't the dark one. But Berk. It seemed familiar. And I know why. I don't dare admit why and how to myself. That was long ago. I'm not that man anymore.
These thoughts were quick and ran through my mind in a second. I'm in Regina's office with the presence of Robin, Henry, Mary Margaret and David. I take a deep breath and nod to Regina. The wand glows a purple tint and she hesitates before she waves it toward us. A black hole spreads from the ground and wind whips around the room. I look at Regina, who looks very uneasy. Henry jumps into the portal with no hesitation. I jump in right after him.
